Found this posted on a blog and since I am trying to eat healthier and continue to lose weight, I have added this to my new weekly rotation. I never cared for boiled brussel sprouts, but roasted, they were awesome. The recipe loader wouldnt let me use Truvia instead of the sugar. I use 6 packets of Truvia instead of the sugar, for calorie reduction, etc.

    Recipe #493189

This is a recipe from Carla Hall (The Chew) that was recently published in People magazine. I made this the other night and it was great! Easy to make and something different to do with cranberries which I love. Cooking time does not take into account the time you marinate the pork.

    Recipe #491823

An easy cupcake lasagna that is also healthy for you!

    Recipe #479023

Very easy and quick recipe. We enjoy serving this over rice.

    Recipe #472300

Found this recipe on a couple different blogs with variations. This is the one I tried and really liked.

    Recipe #472036

A terrific little appetizer that is smokey, sweet, and spicy. With only 3 ingredients what could be easier. I think this could also be made with andouille sausage tho I haven't tried it that way yet.

    Recipe #418370

The Hot Brown is a classic that was first served at the Brown Hotel in Louisville, Ky. While popular all year long in KY, it is a favourite during Derby celebrations and festivites. While this recipe is not the original version, it is an adaptation of that recipe from another hotel in KY. This makes a lovely brunch dish or a great main dish served with a salad. Prep time does NOT include approximate chill/fridge time of 1 1/2 hours.

    Recipe #413113

I've seen other types of banana dumpling recipes, but this is the version that we grew up with from my Gramma. This was always a favourite of the grandkids.

    Recipe #413079

This was one of the homemade goodies we received in a Christmas basket from a friend with the recipe included. So I wanted to share this scrumptious treat with all of you. I made them for the first time this morning and they are absolutely delicious warm with the ooey gooey caramel topping.

    Recipe #409181

A tasty dessert for the holidays or just anytime. Received recipe from a friend and posting for safe-keeping. Hint: Thoroughly mix just the flour and plums together until well-coated, then add remaining cake ingredients. This will keep the plums from all becoming settled at the bottom of the cake.

    Recipe #404188

I love that these little salad and/or dessert goodies can be made days in advance and kept in the freezer in a ziploc bag until ready to serve. This of course could be made and frozen in a salad dish but the individual presentations are quite nice and you always have individual servings ready for a quick treat anytime.

    Recipe #397280

This recipe was emailed to me by a friend that found it on a foodie blog. I don't know which one to give credit to but these were really great. Easy to make and so tasty for anytime of the day.

    Recipe #394100

The "Run for the Roses" (Kentucky Derby) is less than a month away. This delicious cheesecake taken from the traditional mint julep cocktail is a "must have" for any derby party. Prep/cooking does not include refrigeration time to allow layers to set.

    Recipe #364951

This is a favourite with the grandkiddies and me too! For a change in pace, add cinnamon to the butter/sugar mix for rolling. Also, thinking you could add a dollop of your favourite jam before completely filling the cup (havent tried that yet).

    Recipe #364651

A wonderful savory side dish. Paired with a salad, makes a great light summertime dinner. Use the cottage cheese or mild goat cheese for a fairly mild cheese flavour or for a bolder cheese taste, try the feta. Cooking/Prep Time does not include "stand time" of 15 minutes.

    Recipe #364645

First let me say that I am NOT an expert on authentic Indian cuisine. That being said, LOL, whether this is a traditional korma or not, we enjoy this dish frequently. The longer you let it simmer the better the flavors will meld. You can even do this korma in the slow cooker which is another reason I enjoy making this dish. Love to do the "fix it and forget it" type thing. If you do however, brown the chicken and vegetables before adding them to the slow cooker

    Recipe #364394

Ok, to get this recipe I had to nearly beat up my best friend. Went over for brunch yesterday and this was one of the items on the menu. Good grief, it was fabulous. I'm giving the recipe as it was finally given to me. However, I'm going to try it using some really good cinnamon-raisin bread instead of the regular bread and see how that turns out. I'll let you know! In the meantime, hope you enjoy this wonderful french toast pie from my dear friend, Becks! This will be one of my new Christmas morning dishes!

    Recipe #363675

I copied this recipe from the internet quite some time ago and just now getting around to trying it. While I prefer to grill my ribs outside, the weather today wasn't cooperating so we gave this one a shot. We thought the sauce was pretty tasty and even though we prefer our ribs off the grill, this is a great recipe for the crock pot.

    Recipe #363484

Another great appetizer using my favourite, bacon! Always goes quickly at any get-together we have. Servings based on 12 slices of bacon per pound. Obviously this could vary from brand to brand.

    Recipe #363478

Very tasty, very simple to make crockpot pork tenderloins. I used orange juice when making mine since I love the combination of cranberry and orange. Onions, carrots and potatoes can be added to make a more complete meal. Cooking time varies on whether you cook on high or low temp.
