We were at a cottage with friends of my brothers, in four days we managed to scarf down at least five of these cakes with only five people! It is moist and very tasty. We barely waited for the cake to cool down, and didn't even bother with frosting. I imagine if you want to frost the cake, it would be even better. Or just sprinkle with a little icing sugar, or a glaze. Double the recipe if you want layers.
