This is inspired by a recipe from my KitchenAid cookbook. i have altered it to make it a bit healthier. i have also substituted the blueberries for frozen mixed berries. although they have whole wheat flour, they are nice and light.
So good--I got this recipe from a friend. I use this to marinate chicken before grilling. Last week I cooked a roast in my crock pot in this sauce with extra water. It's also very nice in a stir-fry. Try it any way you like!
I saw this on Christine Cushing live and changed it a little. You can leave the alcohol out all together if you wish. The cookies can be made well in advance and the bananas done quickly after your meal and the dish assembled when you are ready to enjoy your dessert. I made this for our thirteen dinner guests a couple of weeks ago and it was inhaled!
A healthy, tasty, easy snack for kids. This recipe is from the Kinder Krunchies cookbook; I have made a few changes for variety. These travel well and are filling enough to keep your little one going (without whining) until lunch or supper time. Enjoy!
This recipe is from the Company's Coming Cook for Kids cookbook. I have to double the recipe for my husband and two boys. If there are leftovers, I freeze them and warm them up in the toaster on a morning when we're in a rush.
