I found this recipe on the while doing Weight Watchers. Though I no longer follow Weight Watchers I still use this recipe often. This is a terrific quick, low-fat, meatless recipe.

    Recipe #388315

I got this recipe from I have to admit from the get-go, I have not tried this recipe prior to posting the recipe, which is very unlike me. I have faith in this recipe however; due to all the yummy components. I hope to try this soon, in the meantime, I have to share this with the masses. :) Enjoy!

    Recipe #449364

I found this recipe from the book "Crazy about Cookies" by Krystina Castella. I have yet to try this recipe however; it's at the top of my to bake list. I found it hard to find blueberry jam but, was able to locate it at Fred Meyer/Kroger it was one of their Private Reserve jams. I've put in parenthesis which ingredient it used for each step, my apologies for any confusion, the new recipe box feature is bothersome and will not let me play around with the formatting as the original version.

    Recipe #515085

My sister-in-law found this a couple years ago and started to bring it to bon fires and get-togethers. You would think this would be a difficult snack to make because of the way it tastes. The buttery pretzels, popcorn and brown about yummy!!! A extra hand when pouring the mixture over the popcorn comes in handy if you have a second set willing to help. Terrific snack to have at your next Super bowl event, bunko, car trip, the list goes on and on. My husband and I made batches of this, put it into a cute container, cellophane and a cute ornament on top....and instant gift to give to your neighbors, teachers, the list goes on and on. You can use seasonal m&m's if you want to change it up. ;) I hope you love this as much as we do. *Please note the M&M's will not adhere to all of the mixture, the same applies to the nuts.

    Recipe #379873

This is a really yummy alternative to the traditional chex mix. I cannot recall where exactly I got this recipe from, I wish I could remember so that I can thank the person. I love the combination of sliced almond and almond extract...add the coconut...YUMMY! I was initially concerned with how sticky this would be however; it came out terrific. The original author gave this snack as a Christmas gift to neighbors and provided a cute little note "We made a list and "chexed" it twice, to be sure we included our neighbors so nice". I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.

    Recipe #448444

I found this recently on an insert in a magazine. I have to admit I haven't made this yet however; the ingredients sound terrific together. This would be terrific as a snack for lunches, or for a fall party thanks to all the warm spices.

    Recipe #463166

Talk about Yummy!! You won't regret investing the time to make this recipe, I promise. Do try this with egg noodles, it is a night and day difference from the boxed variety found in your supermarket eisle. I have modified Ree's recipe slightly by increasing the carrots, celery, and adding chicken base to this recipe and omitting the salt because of the saltiness of the chicken base. I also doubled the amount of flour for thickening based off my own experience and preference. Please feel free to modify it based off your own preferences. I hope you enjoy this as much as we have. :)

    Recipe #411078

This recipe was originally a Taste of Home recipe that originally called for leftover turkey. I've since made additional changes, including steps for cooking the chicken. Unlike the common Tetrazzini recipes out there this doesn't involve creamed soups nor half and half. In the won't even miss it. This is a terrific comfort food that won't leave you feel guilty in the end.

    Recipe #382776

My mom has used this recipe for 40 years now and it is the best chocolate chip cookie recipe I have ever had. The cookie is crisp around the edges and yet chewy at the same time. I will occasionally omit the nuts due to food allergies for those I'm feeding. I get alot of people questioning how all my cookies are the same size, I'm old school and will still use a teaspoon or tablespoon and my fingers to slide the cookie dough off the spoon. No need for fancy ice cream scoops if you don't want to. :) This will surely become a favorite of yours once you give it a try....

    Recipe #378778

I found this on Jasey's Crazy Daisy Blog....glad I did. This is a terrific cake that is super moist and doesn't call for vegetable oil but, coconut milk. This stored in the fridge and frosted with the whipped cream frosting lasted a whole week without the frosting separating or becoming soggy. At no point was this a soggy cake. Definately give this one a try!!

    Recipe #498553

I actually modified the original recipe from Jenny at PickyPalate to become my own. This really is a quick and tasty soup...great for a work week dinner or when you are in need of comfort food. I love adding some shredded mozarella each bowl after laddling it up. I hope you enjoy this as much as we do!

    Recipe #448445

There are a great way of sneaking a vegetable into your baking. You will not taste the shredded zucchini in this recipe. The Zucchini provides moisture to this cookie and make these cookies soft and almost muffin like. These cookies will not be like your standard drop cookie, these will be a rounded soft cookie. Give these a chance, you won't be sorry in the end.

    Recipe #378788

I bought the 2007 Taste of Home low fat Comfort food cookbook and found this gem in it. We love this recipe!! What sets this apart from the typical Bisquick recipe is that this recipe calls for poultry seasoning and's all about flavor with these two. It also calls for lower in fat ingredients as well tons of flavor without the typical fat you can find in your traditional pot pie. If you are following weight watchers, this serves 6 people (1 1/3 cup of the mixture) with two biscuits each and only 6 weight watcher points a serving. *****I changed this recipe up...rather then 2-16 oz BAGS of veggies as the original recipe called for...I just opted for one. With how it only serves would of been way too many veggies. Also...rather then using thawed veggies I opted to keep them frozen...that way the veggies wouldn't be mush after the baking process. You will love this one!!!

    Recipe #365107

With how easy and delicous this recipe is, there is no excuses for anyone to rely on canned German Chocolate frosting anymore. This recipe is tried and true courtesy of my favorite mom. My husband loves German chocolate cake, and this frosting is what makes it. Once again, I hope you enjoy this as much as we do.

    Recipe #378658

These cookies are the perfect thing to usher in the holidays, especially if you are a fan of the flavors of rum, nutmeg and vanilla. These came from a Pilsbury magazine from several years back. Though these are a little labor intensive due ot the cookie press and glaze, the compliments you will receive will make it worthwhile in the end.

    Recipe #379006

I love the lemon flavor in this pound cake. This is terrific for brunches, showers, holidays, etc.

    Recipe #380635

Though I have yet to try this HAS to be good due to the yummy components that make it what it is. I can't recall where I found this recipe...however whoever thought of it is a genius in my book. :) This is one of those recipes you save for a raining day, broke the heel off your favorite shoes, dog ran away kinda recipes. The originator of this recipe left a serving note, For those who simply cat eat a grilled cheese without soup, I think a bowl of slightly melty strawberry ice cream would complement it quite nicely. ;) Please let me know what you think of this recipe, the good, the bad, and the ugly.

    Recipe #426563

My sister gave me the the Taste of Home - Grill it cookbook as a gift. First recipe I tried was this one, and my husband and I both loved it! Don't let the poblano peppers scare you away, these are more flavorful than hot. We follow a low carb lifestyle and this recipe fits the bill. Terrific side dish to any meat you throw on the grill. Enjoy! The cookbook says that it makes four servings, one half of a pepper is plenty if you serve it with other dishes. I makes more like 8 servings IMO.

    Recipe #459530

This is one of my all time favorites e.v.e.r. Only 6 ingredients, there is no reason for convenience foods when you have these in your pantry/fridge. The sour cream is essential to adding a tang to the dish. Make sure to add it to the end of the cooking process so that you don't curdle it. I hope you adopt this as one of your own.

    Recipe #380591

I found this recipe in the June 2010 Parenting magazine. I just made this recipe tonight for dinner...and boy did my husband and I really enjoy it!! Using chicken thighs really provided a moist piece of meat. Give this recipe a try, you won't be sorry.
