"London Broil" goes Asian in this recipe I recently created. I wanted to cover the flavor spectrum--salty, sweet, sour, bitter, umami and spicy--and the result was a big hit with my family. We hope you like it, too!
Notes: If you can't find pomelo, you can substitute regular grapefruit or lime. Prep time doesn't include overnight marinating. Cooking time will vary depending on the weight, thickness and desired doneness of your meat.
This family favorite is perfect for a quick weeknight dinner. Gjetost (pronounced "yay - toast") is also known as Norwegian brown cheese. It can be a little hard to locate, but markets with good cheese sections (such as Whole Foods) usually have it in stock.
