A recipe from Old Bay - This salad - creamy in texture with crunchy bits of celery and plump shrimp - is very tasty! It can be served up on crackers, in a croissant or rolled in lettuce bowls. Tomato-lovers, try it stuffed in a fresh tomato. Think quick lunch or light supper. Enjoy!

I went to a surprise party tonight. I decided at the last minute to make ribs and they went over really well with everyone! These were very tender and had lots of flavour. The best part? They are incredibly easy to make and are the quickest ribs I have ever made. You can also use regular sized ribs - these were good for an appetizer at the party. Enjoy!

Another quick and easy egg dish that I like to let set while I'm getting ready in the morning. I actually mix everything (but the cheese) the night before. Enjoy!

**MODIFIED - I doubled the amount of ground beef when making this for a party. I can see why Shelby Jo said that the cheese would have been overpowering with the original recipe! It was just right with the 2 pounds.** This is actually called 'All-American Cheeseburgers' from Gooseberry Patch's "Super-Fast Slow Cooking Cookbook". I didn't want you to think that you are making actual cheeseburgers, so I changed the name for Zaar. I see no reason why you couldn't use low fat ingredients. Enjoy!

This recipe is from the Gooseberry's Patch cookbook "Super-Fast Slow Cooking". Super easy and tasty too! Great for those football or hockey crowds. Enjoy!

A favourite of ours. The grapes are awesome with the chicken and to me, the salt is necessary to have with the sweet grapes. This recipe makes enough for 2 sandwiches. Enjoy!

A beautiful fall recipe from Gooseberry Patch's new book, "Autumn with Family & Friends". The house will smell wonderful when you walk in at the end of the day! You can enjoy this on its own with a sprinkle of cinnamon-sugar or serve it with baked pork chops. Enjoy!

From Michael Smith on Fod Network Canada's "Chef at Home", these look delicious! You can use more tequila to Grand Marnier if you prefer. The honey adds the sweetness that the bitterness from the whole limes adds. Enjoy!

I made a batch of these tonight for my kids' school lunches. They are easy to put together and use ingredients that most of us have in our pantries. Enjoy!

I used to make this semi-frequently and just remembered it! It is really good and very quick to put together. I'm sure you can modify to use fresh peaches, but this is for canned peaches. I use yellow onions, but I can't see why red onion wouldn't work. This dish is excellent just served over white rice. Enjoy!

A quick 4 ingredient icing from Gooseberry Patch. Try this with Recipe #388551, which is the recipe that this was posted with in their cookbook . Enjoy!

Yum! A wonderful recipe from Gooseberry Patch from "Our Favourite Harvest Recipes" book. Easy and very good with Recipe #388552, which is what was listed with this in their cookbook. Enjoy!

At first glance there are a lot of ingredients, but they are mostly items that you would have on hand, such as herbs and spices. Another yummy and healthy recipe from Gooseberry Patch. They have an interesting way to thicken the chili before serving. Check out the garnishes listed after the regular ingredients for some suggestions. Enjoy!

I was watching Food Network Canada's show "Road Grill" today and this looked so good that I had to post it! They used several small asparagus spears, not just 3 as listed, so I'm assuming you would need to use bigger spears. Enjoy!

Easy to throw together and the pesto is just the right amount to serve with one meal. Enjoy!

    Recipe #388138

We just watched Kevin Brauch making this on Food Network Canada's show "The Thirsty Traveler". He was doing a show in my province of Alberta and they cooked this outside. It looked so good that I had to post it. There was a suggestion for plating before you place the trout on the plate - "In the centre of a large plate, place 5 oz. wild rice pilaf. Arrange 4 seared asparagus on top of rice Place trout on top of rice & asparagus". Enjoy!

I came up with this because I had some fresh herbs on hand and wanted to make garlic bread. This is what I got! You can also use a teaspoon of each kind of dried herbs if you don't have fresh, but it won't be quite the same. Also, use whatever cheese you have on hand - this is just what I had. I hope you like it. Enjoy!

This would be a great sandwich to make for lunch or dinner too! Freshly made and nice and warm - what could be better? You can serve this with maple syrup and fresh fruit as well. Enjoy!

Not very many ingredients to make such a tasty dish. You can make this into 4 separate servings in small casserole dishes, but cut the cooking time down to about 20 minutes. Enjoy!

I was making Recipe #209670 and I wanted to serve it with rice, but to make the rice a little Mexican too. It's very simple and basic and you can play around with this - add spices, more seasoning, etc. Enjoy!
