    I went to a surprise party tonight. I decided at the last minute to make ribs and they went over really well with everyone! These were very tender and had lots of flavour. The best part? They are incredibly easy to make and are the quickest ribs I have ever made. You can also use regular sized ribs - these were good for an appetizer at the party. Enjoy!

    **MODIFIED - I doubled the amount of ground beef when making this for a party. I can see why Shelby Jo said that the cheese would have been overpowering with the original recipe! It was just right with the 2 pounds.** This is actually called 'All-American Cheeseburgers' from Gooseberry Patch's "Super-Fast Slow Cooking Cookbook". I didn't want you to think that you are making actual cheeseburgers, so I changed the name for Zaar. I see no reason why you couldn't use low fat ingredients. Enjoy!

    I used to make this semi-frequently and just remembered it! It is really good and very quick to put together. I'm sure you can modify to use fresh peaches, but this is for canned peaches. I use yellow onions, but I can't see why red onion wouldn't work. This dish is excellent just served over white rice. Enjoy!

    At first glance there are a lot of ingredients, but they are mostly items that you would have on hand, such as herbs and spices. Another yummy and healthy recipe from Gooseberry Patch. They have an interesting way to thicken the chili before serving. Check out the garnishes listed after the regular ingredients for some suggestions. Enjoy!

    We just watched Kevin Brauch making this on Food Network Canada's show "The Thirsty Traveler". He was doing a show in my province of Alberta and they cooked this outside. It looked so good that I had to post it. There was a suggestion for plating before you place the trout on the plate - "In the centre of a large plate, place 5 oz. wild rice pilaf. Arrange 4 seared asparagus on top of rice Place trout on top of rice & asparagus". Enjoy!

    I came up with this because I had some fresh herbs on hand and wanted to make garlic bread. This is what I got! You can also use a teaspoon of each kind of dried herbs if you don't have fresh, but it won't be quite the same. Also, use whatever cheese you have on hand - this is just what I had.
