This recipe is supposed to be for a side dish, but instead of the recommended tennis ball size I made golf ball size and used it for one of our appetizers. Wonderful!!
we really like the flavors of the fruit and nuts....it is a perfect stuffing for a turkey as well!! I doubled the recipe and used 1/2 apple juice and half chicken broth!!

I used a box brownie mix last night...used coffee instead of water...they were great! but then...anything is great smothered in chocolate :)
I found this recipe in the Nov/2007 Gourmet magazine. Posted for my Thanksgiving meal this year. Chard can be washed, dried and cut 2 days ahead and chilled in sealed bags lined with paper towels.
Chard can be cooked 4 hours ahead and reheated over low heat on stove or in a microwave oven.
