This is a great way to cook on busy errand days. The gravy makes itself and the roast literally falls apart, you have to scoop it out with a spoon. You can even place the roast in FROZEN if you want just add a few hours extra time of cooking. It is always perfect and everyone eats it up--never much left over for lunches.

Another secret from my Italian brother-in-law. This is a great addition to steak!

    Recipe #55309

This recipe makes A LOT so save it for a large gathering, pot luck or cook out. It is light and refreshing and goes well with everything from burgers, steaks to grilled chicken or just eaten alone. I personally like using the lighter angel hair instead of thicker pastas. Enjoy!

    Recipe #55840

My brother-in-law is from Naples, Italy and he and my sister owned a Italian restaurant that I worked at for a little while. This was my absolute favorite dish and I often serve it now 2-3 times a month. Sometimes I add artichoke hearts. When I add the artichoke hearts I use a can of quartered artichokes and drain off the brine and add at the end just long enough to heat through!

I found this on TSR way back when they had a message board, and everyone who has tried it loves it. I even get paid sometimes to make it for them!

Don't remember where I got this one. We like the casserole with the chicken in it so much that this just fits on busy nights of homework and rushing around!

I love this recipe because it is simple, quick and tasty. The asparagus is tender/crisp. WE have also used feta cheese either with or without the parm cheese to twist the flavor a little- great! Since we are on a low carb diet this recipe really brightens up our menu.

Love those restaurants where you get a meal and a show! I always get this dressing to go on the salad.

This is a great dish for a romantic summer dish. Elegant, aromatic and full of flavor. I often double the marinade and boil it for a au jus type gravy for the meat. And when served with roasted garlic mashed potatoes it is a flavor enhancement. great for OAMC and you can get some spring lamb on sale!

After using this stuff I needed a cheaper way of doing it. Now that it is available in some stores the cost might still be too steep for all.

This is a family favorite. My grandfather started making for my dad when he was a little boy- a Norwegian dish that always pleases the whole family and leaves us begging for more. I realize that it may be confusing that there are no amounts listed. This is a "to taste" recipe. And the amounts are equal if you have a 3 lb roast then you use 3 lbs of potatoes. When mashing them together add milk/pot liquor to your preference of consistency. Also the seasonings you add should be to your taste i.e. garlic, salt, pepper, butter or other spices YOU like. Adapt this recipe to your taste and make it YOUR dish! I am now making amounts for those who are totally confused.

This is a great kid pleaser and a nice healthy meal my husband can throw together when I am at work. I use Barilla Marinara sauce and frozen ravioli when I am in a hurry. My next attempt will be with fresh marinara and crab stuffed ravioli! Mmm!

I made this up while needing a idea for chicken legs, and the kids wanting some pasta I just through this one pot dish together. To my amazement there was none left over! Could also be finished in a crock pot. To add a little zip I added some crushed red pepper! Kick it up!
