    this is a cheap version of a restaurant dish from some place called Great Bay. The original dish calls for english peas and morel mushrooms but hey you buy what you can get cheap right! The dish is somewhat time consuming so you don't want it on a busy night. And this recipe seems to only make enough for 1 large serving or 2 smaller appetizer servings.

    Summer and it's bountifful fruit! This is a great pie to take on a summer outing, picnic or cookout. Now some might think "USE THE RIND??" but yes this is a great way to use all of the watermelon you can! it doesn't take much of it. I prefer to leave out the raisins but hubby wants me to add them next time. He thinks that the pie almost tastes like plums and smells like a apple pie. You will never know that its watermelon rind! Now this recipe doesn't make a FAT slice but rather a thin filled pie, so if you want a fat full pie you will need to increase the filling ingredients. Besides using raisins you could use different dried fruits like cranberries, dates etc. Use what you like

    These scallops can be grilled too. put I prefer pan seared. To me this dish can be served as a appetizer or as a surf addition to the turf steak, for a home version of surf and turf meal. enjoy

    Fresh basil is the most wonderful addition to this dish, in a pinch use dried but when fresh basil is in a bundance this is a great way to serve chicken. if you like you could actually grill or roast the chicken instead of cooking on the stove top. depending on the weather outside this recipe fits all seasons because of the fact you can use different methods for cooking the chicken. you could use boneless breasts if in a pinch for time!

    A great little salad that travels to picnics, or tailgating because there is no mayonnaise. Treat as a side dish or eat in avocado halves or even a hollowed out tomato (of course save that tomato inside for a sauce) use your imagination on how to serve this amazing summer time dish. this can be made in the same day but is better if the potatoes have overnight to get really cold in the refrigerator. you can also choose to serve this dish at room temperature. but a cold salad is better on a hot summer day

    This is my version of the creamy style chicken and dumplings that are so good at that great southern cooking restaurant Cracker Barrell this is old fashioned and sure to stick to your ribs. Warms your heart any time of year.optional: instead of making the dumplings yourself you can use a box of Anne's flat dumplings from the freezer section of the grocery store

    I love using the other worcestershire by lea & perrins. What was originally their white wine worcestershire but is now called chicken marinade and found with the other marinades in the grocery store. Although i found this on the internet there just aren't enough recipes on here using the great white worcestershire. so I wanted to share my find. It is a little involved and the longer the chicken marinates the better. But you are sure to impress with this dish at your next cookout! Just don't weat your kiss the cook apron unless you mean it!! You can use beer instead of the tequilla- but this is a southwestern dish! Or if you are afraid the alcohol content wont cook out and you are serving to children etc you can leave it out alltogether
