From the box of Kraft Stovetop Mix. A family from church made this for us, and we all absolutely loved it! Very hearty and tasty! Can easily be doubled. Note: You can substitute a bit of garlic powder for the cloves of garlic. :)
Another hearty stick-to-your bones soup. I like finding recipes like this because where I live winter is freezing, and we spend a lot of time out in our barn, so it's good to have hearty foods out in the cold.
This is a fusion of Middle Eastern and South Asian tastes. You haven't lived till you've tried it. It goes good as veggie or naan or pita bread dip, or even in spoonfuls straight from the bowl. We like this recipe so much we have to triple it to make sure it isn't all eaten right after being put out.
My piano teacher showed me how to make these a couple years ago. There's nothing better than sitting in the kitchen while these are baking and cleaning out the bowl the batter was in; you're going to need a big bowl. These are also good cut open and filled with jelly.
