Last year I went to New Zealand, we went to a place called Waitomo Caves to see the famous glow worms - we went with a company called "Black Water Rafting" - it was such an amazing experience! Afterwards for morning tea they gave us these delicious bars, these are so good they have pre-typed copies of the recipes due to all the requests! They are very similar to Anzac Cookies.
An old work friend of mine used to make this pasta salad for parties, it is so good I just had to get the recipe out of her! You can use other shaped pasta but bowtie looks the best & holds the other ingredients well.
My nanna was from Italy, I loved it when she made gnocchi. It is a very time consuming process, but well worth the effort! The recipe can be varied with the addition of other ingredients (spinach, pumpkin, mushroom, herbs...) just let your imagination run wild! Serve with any sauce that tickles your fancy & lots of parmesan!!!
I experimented with different wonton recipes, until I came up with this one. These are a favourite in my home & disappear very quickly! You can deep fry these if preferred. I buy my wonton wrappers from Asian supermarkets.
