Crisp fresh and so delicate with the Butter Lettuce. Quick and easy to put together. One of my family's favorites. Easily made into a meal with some roasted chicken or other meat added to it. From January '12 Bon Appetit magazine.

    Recipe #472722

This free form tart is super easy to make and tastes delicious. No special tart pan needed and using a refrigerator pie crust whips this dessert up in no time flat. From June '06 Bon Appetit.

This dish a winner! Simple, easy to make and it has great presentation. I've made this 3 times so far and it's never failed. The hens cook perfectly and the taste is wonderful. #69724 makes a perfect side dish for this entree. The recipe comes from the Aug '03 issue of Gourmet. This is a great meal for entertaining! I served it for 10 this weekend and everyone loved it.

This is a sweet treat that is super easy to make and yummy for kids and parents too. A fun way to get a little more fruit in your diet and use up those bananas that are going to get too ripe! I found this recipe in a Family Fun magazine and we love it.

I made this on a whim tonight because I had all the ingredients and thought it sounded like something good on top of fresh strawberries. I was right - YUM!! I think it would be good on any variety of fruit or a mixture. The recipe from TOH said it could also be used on salad greens.

The BBQ sauce on this juicy grilled chicken is out-of-this world! We "wow" people with this recipe every summer during outdoor entertaining. I always double the sauce recipe to have extra on the side for dipping. The original recipe calls for 2 small boiler chickens quartered but we prefer using bone-in, skin on chicken breasts. Slow cooking on the grill gives it the best flavor. I hope you enjoy this as much as we do - it's a favorite at this house.

This is a great way to use up the Rhubarb surplus and in about 30 minutes you have a jam supply for lots of PB&J! My kids love it! You can make a different jam by just using the jello and leaving out the pie filling but we think this is the best way. You can experiment with different jello or pie filling flavors too. It's always fun to share a container with friends or neighbors.

Since everyone seems to be doing the brining thing, I thought you all might like this roast. I got the recipe several years ago on the FoodTV network - can't remember which show. The low temp isn't a typo - it cooks at 250 degrees. The flavor and taste are exceptional. Great for a Sunday dinner with garlic mashed potatoes and Sauerkraut with Apples #53036 - this recipe came from the same show. Hope you enjoy - it's a favorite of ours.

I've been making this as my Easter dessert ever since finding it in a 4/01 Taste of Home. The cakes should be made a day ahead, the flavor improves with time. This triple layer cake looks awesome and everyone loves the caramel sauce drizzled over the top. My only hint - don't make too much dinner because you WANT to have room for this delicious dessert.

These are some quick and easy bars that everyone loves. They are nothing to whip up real quick and I always have the ingredients on hand.

Only 6 ingredients to make these tasty bars! A favorite at this house. Raisins could easily be substitued or maybe craisins.

This is a great quick and easy recipe that I got from a Hidden Valley Ranch recipe book. The ingredient that we think "makes" these wraps are the red pepper slices. The combination of all the ingredients are very tasty. You could use whatever toppings you would like if your tastes differ. The prep time does not include cooking chicken - leftovers work great or I just cook up some boneless, skinless breasts right before making dinner.

If you are in the mood for a rich, creamy pasta dish - try this one! The flavor is so...yummy - not low cal though! Perfect with crusty bread and a good salad. Cook time includes making the noodles. Hope you enjoy!

I saw this on the FoodNetwork and used it for a chocolate fondue party in my son's class this year on Valentine's Day. It was a hit.

    Recipe #116714

This is a fun twist to homemade applesauce. Red hot candies give it some "bite" and those can be adjusted to one's personal taste. We love to serve this when we make City Chicken and Mashed potatoes. Great Fall/Winter food. I found this recipe in a '98 issue of Taste of Home and have been making it ever since.

A quick and easy skillet dish that is tasty and low-fat too! We enjoyed it served over brown rice. From 501 Delicious Heart Healthy Recipes.

Ultimate winter, "feel good" food! This is a favorite at our house and the gravy just has to be served over some homemade, garlic mashed potatoes. Add some Chunky Cinnamon Applesauce and you have a wonderful meal! This recipe came from a '98 Taste of Home Magazine. This can be a bit on the salty side - exchanging the garlic salt for garlic powder and then using reduced sodium chicken broth would help.

This is a great summer salad that tastes super with any grilled meat. The longer it marinates the better! The ingredient are things I normally have in the house so it's easy to whip together. It from a '97 TOH and it has become a favorite at this house. The cooking time listed would be cooking the pasta. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

We think this is the best white bread recipe ever! It is a tender bread with a slightly sweet taste. My dinner rolls using this dough are so good, everyone always loves them. It doesn't take to long to make them when the bread maker does most of the work. The cook time is listed for the rolls only because everyone's bread makers cooks at different rates. Mine is older and a regular loaf will take 4 hours and 10 minutes. I have found that 15 balls of dough fit perfectly in the 9X13 pan with sides touching after raising the 2nd time but they can be made whatever size you want. I hope you enjoy this great bread as much as we do.

    Recipe #71373

This is an easy appetizer and a great way to use up leftover cranberry sauce from the holidays. I saw this on Michael Chiarello's show on the food network. We love it - hope you do too!
