I know I know.....'Saudi' and 'Champagne' are 2 words that do not go together, but this drink is totally non-alcoholic, a popular favourite in Saudi Arabia and featured on the menu of every restaurant here. This can be made and served immediately but I prefer it to be allowed to stand before adding the perrier water so that the flavors of mint, orange and apple are allowed to infuse well to give you this lovely refreshing drink.

    Recipe #426490

This is a traditional Indian drink meant for the hot summer months.Though there will be a slight change in flavor you can substitute sugar for jaggery if you cant find the latter. Happy sipping!

    Recipe #307476

This is a recipe from that I simply had to post mainly because this is a very simple dish to make with basic ingredients and yet so flavorful. The mint adds a very pleasant dimension to this stew. Serve it with a simple Rice Pilaf.

    Recipe #431816

Delicately flavoured stuffed potatoes that are the perfect accompaniment to any barbecue. From the 'Sizzling Barbecue Recipes' Cookbook

    Recipe #429107

An elegant low-calorie dessert from the book 'Simply Desserts' by Rosemary Wilkinson. This can be made a day in advance and chilled. Strawberries can be used in place of raspberries.Note : Time mentioned does not include chilling time.

    Recipe #428081

A perfect barbecue treat. Eat with care, these are very hot when first assembled.

    Recipe #428066

These are really easy to make and can be served with after-dinner coffee or used to decorate cakes or sundaes. A James Martin recipe.

    Recipe #425845

I'm not a coffee person and black really isn't my cup of tea : p But I tried this recipe from Kraft foods today and quite liked it. I think the orange zest made a whole lot of difference.

    Recipe #425636

If you like tabbouleh, you'll like this too. From 'Southern Living', this salad looks really pretty when assembled in a clear glass bowl. Chilling for 24 hours before serving is necessary for the bulgur to soften and the flavors to come through. Next time I will probably assemble them in individual serving bowls to 'dig' into straightaway! (Note: I prefer to boil the broth before adding it to the mixture and immediately mixing it with the bulgur to let it cook)

    Recipe #425628

A quick no-bake treat, ideal as edible gifts too.

    Recipe #425543

This is from the recipe book that came along with my OTG. We love these as snacks and sometimes as breakfast too : D Use any cheese that you prefer. I usually use a mix of cheddar and mozzarella. Omit the red chilli powder if you want it less spicy

    Recipe #425534

A very healthy and colorful soup from Prevention.

    Recipe #425510

This is a simple Indian style omelet and is a regular feature in our house. If you want less heat in your omelet, deseed the green chilli before chopping it. You can even use this in sandwiches or wraps along with some tomato ketchup.

    Recipe #425507

This is a Martha Stewart recipe and I'm waiting for the peach season to kick in so that I can try this. Posting here for safekeeping.

    Recipe #425439

I had a can of creamed corn that was fast approaching its expiry date. I took this recipe from the 'Pasta Perfect' cookbook and modified it a bit. It took me less than 10 minutes to get the sauce ready and resulted in a very filling lunch.

    Recipe #425436

I clipped this from a magazine 4 years ago because it sounded so cute! Posted for Rhapsody in Rouge! French Strawberry Fair May '10

    Recipe #424660

Strawberry season's here so I thought I'd share one of my favorite strawberry dessert recipes. Prep time does not include time required to set.

    Recipe #424658

This is sooo much better than regular store-bought stuff ! I really liked this pudding...DH isn't too fond of chocolate so didn't care much for this one, but I know my sister - who's visiting next week - will absolutely love this. I added some orange zest into my bowl and it reminded me of Lindt's lovely Dark Chocolate with Orange : ) ( Note: The recipe was shown on an episode of 'Cooking for Real'. Sunny sprinkled something on top before serving the pudding but I missed that so that isn't mentioned here, hopefully any Zaarite who has seen or sees that episode can mention it in the review.

    Recipe #424122

This is from the 'Pasta Perfect' cookbook. A very tasty pasta dish using cheese and spinach ravioli, I personally prefer to use less cream than called for in the recipe.

    Recipe #423898

A lovely recipe from Tarla Dalal. Posting here for safekeeping. Total time does not include time required for freezing.
