I got this recipe out of a "Cheese book" that I picked up from the grocery store. I love the creamy tang of goat cheese and this was so good! It's garlicky, but I love garlic so I was very happy with the taste. I served this with spicy latin shrimp as a dip and it was amazing, but I think it would also be good with a steak...yum!
I found this recipe in an old cookbook that the SO picked up from Goodwill for me. It's so good (and so fattening) and he LOVES it! You can substitute half and half or light cream for the heavy cream to save on fat and cals, and you can also use bacon instead of the proscuitto as it's quite expensive.
I make these every year for my office Halloween party. There's nothing particularly spooky about them, it's just become a tradition. I wanted to add the recipe here for safe keeping. Also, I don't like olives and usually leave them out. I sometimes add the juice from a can of chopped jalepenos too for an extra zing.

Got this from my mom's Crab Cookbook that looked like it was written in the 60's. There are many Crab imperial recipes but this one doesn't include mayo. Very delicious atop fish or shrimp or on sliced and toasted baguette.
I actually got this recipe in my home-ec class in high school. My BF (and my ex-BF) loved this soup so much! It is perfect for cold fall days, and makes enough to warm up a family. So creamy! You can sub half and half for the heavy cream to save on calories, but the soup doesn't come out as thick so I just try to eat healthy the rest of the day to make up for it :)
I can't remember where the original recipe for this was, but I've tweaked it plenty since finding it a few years ago. I was looking for recipes to ease my SO's acid reflux and this was a delicious find! We cook the ground turkey with an entire clove of garlic, but this might be a bit much for some.
Got this recipe from my mother's coworker, Dr. Jeff Ward. Mom said it was amazing so I'm looking forward to trying it! He noted on the recipe that shitake, white or portobello mushrooms can be used (or all three). The pepper is to taste.
This is a variation of the recipe submitted by Chef #844314 for the Poor Boy Stromboli (http://www.recipezaar.com/304802). The SO absolutely loves those Dominos Philly Cheesesteak pizzas®, so I decided to modify Chef #844314's recipe to incorporate the flavors of the pizza. The outcome is, in my humble opinion, delicious! Sorry the picture came out a bit blurry, but you get the idea.
I say #2 because I found another Emeril Pumpkin Cheesecake recipe on here and it was significantly different. I found this one on the FoodNetwork website. I made this in my 10" springform and it worked fine with a bit of the crust mix leftover. I also put aluminum foil around the base of the pan and baked the cheesecake in a water bath to keep it from cracking.
My mom's good friend Mrs. Barbara would always make this delicious crab dip for holidays and gatherings. She passed away over 15 years ago and I didn't think my mom had gotten the recipe from her before she died, but I found out this weekend that she had!! Can't wait to make this and remember all the good times we had with such a great lady.
