I make this for myself b/c it's only 60 calories and pretty filling. It tastes alright...you must remember that it IS lowcal afterall!!! You could always add milk instead of water or even icecream and then blend away!

    Recipe #65380

Yes..another "mother-in-law" southern recipe! This is really good! I don't like meat much, but after one bite of this I sure change my mind fast! Give it a try and tell me what you think!

    Recipe #55805

My second favorite recipe from my ever famous mother in law! This is too easy and sooooooo good! It's also quite versatile. I've added some onion to the beef, threw in some green chiles, added shredded cheese on top w/ sour cream and of course hot sauce to taste. I have yet to meet a person that doesn't like this and they always get seconds! The leftovers aren't too shabby either.

    Recipe #55804

This is another one of my mother in law's recipes. It is my absolute favorite dish that she makes! Please try this..You'll be hooked!

    Recipe #55803

Granny Patterson's classical recipe passed down to my mother in law and now to me : ) My husband loves them!

    Recipe #55801

I got this recipe out of a magazine and decided to make my husband a "little treat!" He loved these and kept eating them! I'll admit that these do require a lot of time and prep, but they are definitely worth the effort.

    Recipe #55800

My husband really likes this snack mix. I make it for him and my toddler to snack on when we start running low on snacks in the house. It's pretty good for homemade snack mix! : )

    Recipe #54537

These are a good snack for kids! My toddler loves them! Quite tasty too!

    Recipe #54534

These little treats are great for kids and anyone w/ a sweet tooth! They are fast and easy to make with great results! Good for those who are on WIC and get tons of cereal per month and don't know how to use the left over cereal!

    Recipe #54533

These are REALLY, REALLY good! I swear, I could have eaten the whole batch!!! These are something quick and easy to make! Good to make if you're short on time and have to bring something for a function or party!

    Recipe #54532

My friend at church gave out little baggies of these for Christmas. WOW! They were SO good! Everybody was asking her for the recipe! And they are so easy! BEWARE there are addicting!!!

    Recipe #53262

You'd never think that you could make ornaments from applesauce and cinnamon... but it actually works! They smell yummy, but I don't suggest eating them!!! I guess you could though! Don't blame me if they taste bad though!!! lol! I just wanted to show you all a good 'ornament' recipe!

    Recipe #48832

I like to make this as a quick and light dessert for my husband and me. It is much lower in fat and calories than the average shortcakes and tastes almost just as good. This is a good recipe for someone who is on a diet, but still craves sweets like me!! I don't feel like I've sabotaged my diet when I eat this and even my husband dosen't know that it's not full of fat!

    Recipe #46335

I don't even like Pork, but was tricked into tasting this dish when I was told it was chicken. WOW! The meat was sooo tender and juicy; so tender in fact, that it was literally falling apart! It was like nothing I'd ever tasted before! Definitely not like my mother's hard, crusty pork chops! lol! This recipes goes hand in hand w/ some mashed potatoes. Just pour the leftover gravy on the taters' and enjoy!

    Recipe #45940

This is another one of my mother-in-laws recipes that she uses for Thanksgiving and Easter. It is really good! I think you should give a try and see for yourself.

    Recipe #45939

My mom has made this for years and I love how easy it is and good it tastes. My husband used to ask me to make it EVERY morning!!! Through the years I have adjusted my mom's original recipe to make it a little more healthy. It still tastes yummy and good if you have a sweet tooth like me but want to eat sensibly.

    Recipe #45669

I got this recipe out of "The WIC Bean Book." I altered it a little to fit my tastes, adding chili powder and the veggie cheese. The chili powder is appx. is use your best jugdement. These burgers turned out really good; nice and tender, not hard like many of the frozen patties you can buy. Even my husband "the meat eater" liked these!

    Recipe #45281

I've made this pizza twice and have really enjoyed it. It takes a little preparation, but to me it was worth it. I'm not big on pepperoni pizza so my chicken adaption worked well for me. Hopefully it'll work for you as well.

    Recipe #45197

These pancakes are something that I made up when I got tired of fixing just plain old pancakes for my husband. I couldn't believe it, he actually liked them and so did my 18 month old son! Since then I've made them for some of my friends and my in-laws. I have never gotten one complaint, even though they come out a little deformed looking : ) I'm not joking, my friends would get so excited over these pancakes that they'd demand me to make them whenever I came to visit! Hopefully you will like them as much as we all do. By the way, no one even has to know that these pancakes are not the fattening kind! I've made them with real sugar and butter or oil before and my husband actually admitted to liking the lower fat pancakes better! You tell me what you think!

    Recipe #45196

This meat loaf is very moist and good and doesn't take very long to prepare.
