Classic pot roast flavor with the ease of a slow cooker. I'm not a huge pot roast fan, but my family really likes this one.

    Recipe #390725

Kind of a cross between classic minestrone and a tomato-based vegetable soup. I like to prep ingredients the night before, then just dump into pot along with the broth (and water if needed) before leaving for work.

    Recipe #389912

Beefy meatball patties rolled in rice and cooked in tomato sauce. Not gourmet, but something a little different.

    Recipe #357213

Fluffier than the shredded cheesy potatoes. For added zing, I like to use the "O'Brien" variety of frozen hash browns that comes with bits of red pepper and onion in it. For super-fast prep, use dried minced onion and the prepackaged shredded cheese.

    Recipe #302690

Plain and simple, the way the kids like it.

    Recipe #301383

A hot German-style potato salad--very tangy! This is great as a grill side, but I'd guess you can cook in the oven too for almost as good results.

    Recipe #301304

Only 3 ingredients (no spinach!) and so deliciously cheesy! Served hot with wheat thins or etc. Makes a pretty small bowl, 'cuz it is so rich, so you may need to double for parties.

    Recipe #300044

A spicy, cheesy family favorite. Just 6 ingredients makes a 13x9 pan, and it is great for leftovers. Best served with sour cream and/or salsa to top.

    Recipe #299957

Flavorful but not picante. It's nice to prepare the marinade the night before, then have only to grill chops after work. I serve with white rice to soak up sauce.

    Recipe #295342

Everybody has a favorite type of barbecue. Eastern NC BBQ has a pure salty savoryness without any ketchup base. The following recipe is awesome served on large sandwich buns with potato chips. And it's easy--a great recipe to set in the crock pot and come home to an almost-finished meal. For cost savings, I often buy a large pork roast when it goes on sale and just cut in in two halves; use one for the recipe. Pick a nice lean cut; not a Boston butt. Even better as a leftover!!

    Recipe #295325

Sweet and tangy, low-cal, and quick. Only 5 ingredients! Great with white rice to drizzle the sauce over.

    Recipe #295313

Pasta tossed in a light tomato cream sauce with a mild peppery tang. If sundried tomatoes are hard to find in your grocery store, you can substitute a can of petite diced tomatoes in olive oil.

    Recipe #287740

A family staple... my kids have loved it since toddlerhood. Now they eat so much of it that I have to double the recipe--very easy to do by just doubling all ingredients except the pie crust and laying out a top and bottom lattice-style crust in a 9x13 dish.

    Recipe #285320

Got this easy recipe from a friend at work. Since I dislike shrimp, I replace with bite-sized chicken. Either way it is rich and creamy.

    Recipe #283645

Sweet and sour flavored sauce with chicken pieces and oriental vegetables. Nice for us soccer moms on those nights when everyone is going different directions at different times. Once cooked, you can hold on lowest setting and each family member can dish up whenever they're ready to eat.

    Recipe #283522

A quick and hearty favorite when our family wants something spicy.

    Recipe #283203

Similar to the other recipes, but the lemon juice in this version adds just the right tang.

    Recipe #280949

You can really taste the chocolate and the cheesecake flavors, especially if you refrigerate it overnight before serving.

    Recipe #396626

Can't go wrong with cheddar, parmesan, butter and garlic, right? For lower calories, substitute margarine for butter and use 2% fat cheddar. Perfect and easy side dish is PastaRoni's Parmesan Angel Hair box mix.

    Recipe #389823

Sweet-spicy sauce over crock-pot tender boneless pork chops. Serve with rice. I substitute Spenda brown sugar-mix for brown sugar to keep low-cal. Original recipe claims you can use country style pork loin ribs.
