I made this for dinner tonight and it was really good! I used tilapia for the fish. There is really no "sauce" for the pasta so I tossed the noodles with melted butter for some extra flavor, then topped them with the fish and mushroom mixture.
This version of green bean casserole is made in the slow cooker so it won't take up valuable oven space when preparing a holiday meal. You can just throw everything in and forget about it for a few hours until your ready to serve!
This is easy but so good! You don't have to use cream of chicken and cream of mushroom. Any "cream of" soups would probably work just fine. The vegetables are also easily changed to suit your family's taste.
