Recipe from Better Homes and Gardens October 2010. Magazine suggests to serve with polenta, cousous, or mashed potatoes. Recipe calls for hickory or mesquite-flavor barbecue sauce. I used Jack Daniels grilling sauce.

A friend gave me this recipe but the original creator is Natialie Riggin from Olmypia, Washington. Two slices of refrigerator cookies are baked together with chocolate chips for the eyes and a cashew nut for the beak. A clever party cookie.

No bake. Cooking time is refrigerating time. My father loves peaches, so when we have get togethers I usually make a peach dessert. Taken from Family Circle 2003. Sounds like alot of instructions, but it is very easy and pretty.

An old appetizer recipe that I have made countless times.

    Recipe #274661

These appetizers are very good and simple to put together. The recipe came from the epicurious forum several years ago. This is staple around the holidays at our house. They also look very pretty.

A family favorite. I got this recipe off a Pillsbury box many years ago. My family does not like nuts, so I leave them out. Sometimes I use devils food cake mix but always Pillsbury Plus.
