A surprising but delightful flavor combination - try it! As with most sandwiches, it's wide open for interpretation; this is the way we like it. I hope you do too! (Baking time is not included in prep time.)

    Recipe #249609

One of those great quick recipes to have on hand, and talk about delicious!

    Recipe #127220

This makes a pretty and delicious luncheon salad, especially when served on a bed of shredded romaine lettuce. See note at the end of preparation if you prefer a zesty dressing.

    Recipe #127219

    Meatiness without the meat!

    Recipe #126993

This decadent dessert is simple and delicious, and I promise you won't even taste the tofu! I save this for special occasions and serve it in a small wine glass or dessert cup, but it would also do well in a pie shell of your choice.

    Recipe #106987

An elegant starter soup, especially for winter when the best tomatoes come in cans. From the Mediterranean Vegan Kitchen.

    Recipe #106656

A quick way to jazz up refrigerated crescent roll dough. I have posted it as given to me, but I substitute soft margarine for the sour cream and they're still delicious.

    Recipe #104679

Notice: this recipe doesn't work as written. i am in the process of updating amounts & techniques. i will post once i know all the changes. thank you.

    Recipe #102630

Spring means fresh asparagus, and what better way to celebrate than with this flavorful, pretty soup? It's creamy without any cream, and incorporates lots of veggies. Using margarine will keep it completely dairy free. It's best fresh, so I normally cut the recipe in half. From The Daily Soup cookbook.

    Recipe #87463

Puff Corn can be found in the potato chip aisle of your grocery store. (The brand we have is Old Dutch, but I'm sure there are others.) Making caramel corn this way gives you great big "kernels" with no hulls or old maids. Quite addictive. Great at a party. Makes nice gifts too.

    Recipe #80247

A nice hearty Italian stew, perfect for a cold night. Serve with a green salad and crusty bread for a meal, or serve small helpings as a starter. When using dried rosemary I always give it a beating with the mortar and pestle so the pieces are smaller and not so twig-like when eating. If you don't feel like roasting your own red and yellow peppers, feel free to substitute 2 6-oz. jars of roasted red peppers. You'll be missing the yellow, but it will be tasty.

    Recipe #77810

Such an easy & quick candy, nice for any holiday thanks to the variety of holiday colors m&m's come in. This comes from an old magazine - was it Taste of Home or Quick Cooking? I can't remember, but they sure are tasty & cute! While the recipe calls for small pretzel rings, you'll get equally great results with mini twists and even Rold Gold butter checker pretzels if available in your neck of the woods.

    Recipe #77561

I've been obscessed with both pesto and roasted red bell peppers lately. This is the result.

    Recipe #67432

If Popeye lived in Mexico, this is what he would eat.

    Recipe #65400

My daughter and I came up with this open faced sandwich as an after school snack one day. We were amazed that it has the flavor of cheesecake!

    Recipe #59995

This is a show-stopper dessert from The Mediterranean Vegan Kitchen. It's easy to make and your guests will feel very special. I used a California Cabernet and these were delicious.

    Recipe #55300

If you are looking for a beautiful, scrumptious dessert tray item, this is it. It's a little time consuming, and worth every minute you put into it! Especially nice in the springtime because of the colors. Prep time includes refrigeration time. I got this from Family Circle Encyclopedia of Cooking.

    Recipe #54624

My sister brought this to a family gathering and it's been a part of my life ever since! I'm just guessing at how many servings this makes.

    Recipe #53964

This is an easy hot appetizer, and they always go over in a big way. You can do them up ahead and refrigerate until you're ready to bake.

    Recipe #52201

This is delicious! I love to make this to bring to people (new babies, home from hospital, etc.), though it's not exactly figure friendly. Great for entertaining too.
