My best friends mother made this for her family as they grew up, and it has become a staple at her house. I thought it sounded a little bit weird, but tried it anyway, yummy comfort food! I saw another recipe similar to this one, but this one has lots more spices....I know it sounds like a weird concoction, but it really is good!.

Very easy recipe for fried bread used to make Indian Tacos. OR you can eat them with butter, or add honey or jelly! You can also slice in half and use as hamburger buns. Many possibilities. Sometimes I use garlic salt and eat them with spaghetti. They make great dippers for chili too! To make the indian tacos you just put your favorite taco ingredients on top and enjoy!

Found this recipe with the Sunday paper coupons and tried it Sunday evening. This was really good. It says to add bacon as garnish, but I added it into the cornbread while mixing, and it was good. I used broccoli but I bet the spinach would be just as tasty. Wondering how a can of corn would be.....

I stopped buying those seasoning packets. This is so easy to make and I bet you have all the ingredients on hand. I usually double or triple the recipe to have on hand for quicker meals. Store tightly covered in a plastic container. Recipe makes enough for 1 pound of seasoned hamburger.
