Not sure where my mother got this recipe, but it is tasty. She called it her easy pork chop and rice dinner. The recipe card she handed down to me actually calls it mediterranean pork chops. I know its sort of a cheat recipe because of the canned manwich, but it still is good and so easy! I am sure you could add some veggies to the mix to make it healthier! Give it a try!

    Recipe #408661

Another one of my moms casseroles that I grew up eating. I make often because it gives you the chance to have the taste of lasagna but doesn't take as long. Also its cheaper than lasagna! Enjoy!

Growing up in MN, we had wild rice all the time. Love that taste! This is a pretty easy casserole but very good!

I am not really sure where this recipe came from, but I have had it for quite some time. It is a tasty soup that is quick to make.

Not sure how southwestern authentic this recipe really is, since its one of my mothers and she was raised in WI and lived her adult life in MN. :) But it is tasty. I have added stew meat on several occasions and browned ground beef a time or two and that is delicious also. I have made it without the olives and mushrooms and it was just as tasty. I have even added some drained mexican corn to it for some more color. So as you can see, you can change it up quite a bit! Have fun and hope you enjoy!

Great casserole that my mother used to make all the time. I had kind of forgotten about it, until I was looking through old recipe cards my mother handed down to me, and decided I needed to share with all of you.

    Recipe #406816

An old recipe that my mother handed down to me. If you are from MN, casseroles are called "hotdish". This was served often at church get togethers. Use soy sauce as a condiment when eating.

    Recipe #406809

These are a Christmas tradition in my family. We make them every year for eating and giving as gifts. It's another one that my ex mother in law shared with me. Cooking time is for the logs to firm up again in the refrigerator.

Easy tasty salad. I am sure you could add different veggies. I am actually thinking of putting some radishes in it next time I make it. It has a nice tangy taste and it pickles the onions and cucumbers. You can eat it as a side dish or on top of hot dogs on a bun. Yummy!

    Recipe #406567

My daughters favorite dish. It is a version of SOS. Very easy to make, and you are eating quickly!

    Recipe #406537

This is tasty soup that comes together fast and is low carb. You can use half and half or full milk if you don't want to use heavy whipping cream, it just wont be as creamy.

    Recipe #406506

My ex mother in law, gave me this recipe, years ago and I still make it. It is delicious. This recipe does need to be refrigerated overnight. Not really sure why she called it a cake, its more of just a layered dessert.

    Recipe #406461

When I was low carbing, I would make up a huge batch of this. It really is a good salad that I continue to make now. Great for picnics.

    Recipe #406457

This is one of my family's favorite soups in the winter. I sometimes spice it up more with some hot sauce. It comes together fast and really is tasty.

    Recipe #406394

Pretty good soup, I found a long time ago in a womans day cookbook. Enjoy. Doubles easily.

    Recipe #406330

This is a wonderful dip! It is from TOH cookbook. cooks who care edition. Recipe says its from Patricia Moore, Toledo, Ohio. Really tasty!!! Her recipe said to use lower fat or fat free, but all I had was the real deal and it was great.

    Recipe #405414

This makes a good flavored soup. I am not sure how much it tastes like pizza, but it sure is good comfort food that you can make quickly for a nice evening meal. I know all tastes differ, so be your own judge on spicing it up. I usually add more than 1 tsp hot sauce, but some may not like that twang of louisiana hot sauce. Hope you enjoy!

Very easy egg dish that doesn't require much work. They come out creamy. I like to eat them on toast with salsa. I usually put a dash of hot sauce on the eggs, but thats how I like my eggs.

    Recipe #400357

I made this recipe up when I was in a hurry to make dinner one night and it went over like gangbusters. I make this when I am really rushed to put something on the table fast. It goes well with mac and cheese. (boxed is just fine) :) It is one of my hubby's favorite meals. It can be made with frozen or thawed kielbasa, have used both and it works just fine. I have been out of onions and bell peppers and have used a bag of frozen veggies. (The one I used had broccoli and other veggies in it, and it was equally as good too)

Found this recipe online and sounded pretty easy, so I tried it. My family likes it. I have made with both french fries and tator tots. It is good with both. I like to eat it with ketchup. Hope you enjoy it.
