I've been toying with this recipe for a while now....didn't have sour cream to put on a baked potato so I started experimenting & this is what I came up with...goes great on any veggie or throw on a baked potato with a bit of shredded cheddar cheese....oh boy! Had it on steamed broccoli & my bf said it was the best broccoli he'd ever had!
tired of the same ol' plain ol' white rice? well here's an quick combo of herbs to jazz up that boring oldie that rivals any Rice-A-Roni box. i serve this on the side of my Hawaiian style chicken kabobs and its fantastic!
I like spicy food..my boyfriend LOVES spicy food, so I've learned you can add a jalapeno or crushed red pepper to just about anything to give it that extra kick. Plus, the little green pieces really look nice with yellow corn.
i make these nachos every time i have my sisters spend the night after a big party at my house. i first made this recipe after a summer chili cook off where we had everything on hand leftover & decided to throw it all together for breakfast. its almost like a chili cheese omelet cept way better with the crunchy chips!!
this dip never lasts for long! this can be made the day before but make sure you take out of the fridge 30 minutes before serving to let the beans soften. Serve with thick tortilla chips for less breakage.
i've been wanting to make beef wellington ever since i started watching hell's kitchen...i love chef ramsay!! well i finally made it last night for valentines dinner and i have to say it came out wonderful! here's the recipe he uses on the show along with two additions i made (the shallots & garlic). this isnt a difficult recipe its just time consuming with the wait times, but remember that most of the steps can be done in advance.
Here's a quick family favorite the way my grandma always made it!! The secret is in the nacho cheese sauce. She always used the plain nacho cheese soup, so if you cant find the Fiesta style don't worry about it. She'd also use this real fat spaghetti type of noodle but i'm not sure what they're called. Sometimes I'll add a can of chili con carne topped with some pickled jalepenos for a super fast one bowl meal! So yummy!
Yum yum! if you're looking for a crispy thin crust pizza that holds up under the pressure of your favorite toppings look no further! Make sure you get a pizza stone, they help make a crispier crust. You can get one at Target for 25-30 bucks and they're totally worth it.
burger night just got a whole lot better!! UPDATE: i made this again taking luvs 2 cook's advice & adjusted the seasonings...we just love these burgers!! made them a few times this summer, even tried diced green chili instead of salsa...i think i like that even better!! so i made the changes below...
