a few years ago i ran out of turkey broth which i use to moisten my bread crumbs for stuffing so the next year and from then on i use this recipe to make perfect and i get nice turkey flavor to my stuffing :) the seasonings are just suggestions, you can throw in whatever you like to season the broth..i dont usually measure when adding herbs so use your judgement when adding cuz i might be off a bit here and there. do this the day before, cool & store in the fridge so you dont take up a burner the day of.

    Recipe #441150

trying to use brown rice more and had some leftover bbq chicken from when i made 2 Recipe #297657...this is what i came up with. modelled after my original arroz con pollo recipe except much easier! you dont have to use the exact same chicken parts that i used, just enough for 6 people...a store bought rotisserie chicken would work great! i have found that this is the best way to cook brown rice so its not mushy like oatmeal..thanks again PanNan!!

    Recipe #417890

this dip never lasts for long! this can be made the day before but make sure you take out of the fridge 30 minutes before serving to let the beans soften. Serve with thick tortilla chips for less breakage.

    Recipe #402253

i got this recipe from my aunt who makes them every year for christmas. her instructions say to bake til light brown but I haven't made these cookies yet so i dont know how long that takes. i would probably let them cook for 8 minutes and then check every 2 minutes or so.

    Recipe #402243

Quick dinner that I threw together with what I had on hand, zaar recipe Recipe #226861 and a little creativity.

    Recipe #385183

i make these nachos every time i have my sisters spend the night after a big party at my house. i first made this recipe after a summer chili cook off where we had everything on hand leftover & decided to throw it all together for breakfast. its almost like a chili cheese omelet cept way better with the crunchy chips!!

    Recipe #384496

i've been making stuffing like this ever since my mom taught me how. this stuffing is perfect for those who don't like all the "extra stuff" people put in their stuffing (ie. sausage, apples, cranberries, nuts) no thanks!! i use both types of mrs. cubbison's to get the right texture, the cubed stuffing and seasoned dressing (one is cubed and the other is more loose). but the zaar powers that be don't recognize those ingredients so make sure you get both types. this recipe makes alot of stuffing but i like it that way so i'm sure there will be plenty left for all of the yummy leftover recipes i love to make.

    Recipe #379906

i used to make these for my dad when i was a teenager, he even gave them their name!! simple, tasty and definately not good for you but these fried hotdog/bologna sandwiches are worth the extra fat..

    Recipe #379672

i put on 8 lbs in the past 2 years and i'm freaking out!! its time to find a healthier way to make my favorite dishes!!

    Recipe #372082

I got this recipe from my mom who in turn got it from my grandmother who was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. Sopapillas definitely take a bit of practice but if my brother is right its "the love" that makes them puff!!

    Recipe #364333

even though there are alot of ingredients this one dish meal cooks up pretty quick. if you're like me and love you some stuffed sopapillas, while this dish is simmering fry up a couple and stuff them with this!! yummmm!!!

    Recipe #363032

i decided to make spinach salads for dinner and found out that my bf of 4 years doesnt like raw could i not know that by now?? so anyways, lol, i ended up adding some pasta and serving my spinach salad bf was really impressed since it was thrown together on a whim and tasted great! now that i'm writing the recipe down i think it would also be really good with some sliced black olives thrown in but you decide that!

    Recipe #360556

really easy & very tasty bbq chicken that can goes with a bunch of different side dishes or slice and put on top of a salad.

    Recipe #359053

these are by far not your traditional americanized cheese, no lettuce, not a tomato in sight! with only sliced bell pepper and onion for veggies this simple recipe is loaded with fantastic flavor!!

    Recipe #357684

i know there are tons of these recipes on zaar but i like mine best so i want to post for convenience sake. lots of veggies in this one guys! i usually will add a cup of red wine after i saute the onion & garlic to deglaze the pan. this is a really easy & cheap dish that you can make tons of to freeze for lunches or quick meals.

    Recipe #342570

my boyfriend introduced me to this recipe, its the way his mom always makes her mashed potatoes for the holidays. don't be afraid of the carrots, they give great color & flavor & you wont need as much butter or cream cuz they also give a natural sweetness.

    Recipe #341535

don't try this recipe if you don't like lemon flavor. this is a a super lemon-y dish but its SO good. the honey gives it a bit of sweetness & helps thicken the sauce. i created this dish looking for a low fat dish that had loads of flavor & i found it!!!

    Recipe #335760

Here's a quick family favorite the way my grandma always made it!! The secret is in the nacho cheese sauce. She always used the plain nacho cheese soup, so if you cant find the Fiesta style don't worry about it. She'd also use this real fat spaghetti type of noodle but i'm not sure what they're called. Sometimes I'll add a can of chili con carne topped with some pickled jalepenos for a super fast one bowl meal! So yummy!

    Recipe #332263

this is my portuguese boyfriend's mother's recipe & if he knew i posted it here he'd kill me! (hence the name!) but dont worry, i decided that this family secret is worth dying for! so easy with fantastic flavor proves you don't always need a bunch of diffferent spices if you're using good ingredients!! i order my linguica from back east because the stuff found here "isnt the same" according to my bf. here's the site i order from

    Recipe #323211

1 star reviewer zmailed me and said: "I really don't think the problem was with your recipe at all, my family are not big on things like avacado, or chilli like me. It was just not for my family." i'm not sure why she tried my recipe if her family doesnt like the ingredients or why she didnt comment in her review, but i have an idea; careful what you say around here, people can leave bad reviews even if they havent tried your :( if you can, start by going to a carniceria & picking up some pre-marinated carne asada & some bolillos. if thats not available to you then i suggest you marinate the steaks in Recipe #220759 only through step 6 using ingredients vinegar through paprika & you can use any soft roll type bread if you cant find bolillos. these are so tasty you HAVE to try 'em!!
