A lovely sauce to go with steak, or even just to dip chips (French Fries) into!

    Recipe #316146

For use in Turkish cooking - or any recipe that requires a little 'heat'. This recipe makes about 175ml

    Recipe #294358

This is a simple Moroccan dish of onions, tomatoes, cumin and paprika baked with spicy little meatballs and eggs. Serve with flatbread.

    Recipe #294338

Very tasty loaf with maple syrup and pecan nuts.

    Recipe #265095

Easy and very yummy Gorgonzola butter. Ideal for serving with a nice juicy steak. You can use any soft blue cheese for this that you fancy.

    Recipe #264567

Perfect for a light lunch served with salad but can also be served as a starter.

    Recipe #261322

Minced Pork served in lettuce leaves as a starter to a Chinese meal. Very, very nice and yummy!

    Recipe #259993

My Mums beef stew! THE BEST Beef Stew and Dumplings - probably in the world. Takes a while to cook but is certainly worth it! **To make the dumplings you need a packet of 'Atora' Shredded Beef Suet.

    Recipe #258641

This is a Jamie Oliver Recipe that I tried the other night - it was sooooo yummy. Mmmm! You will need about 4 inch piece of fresh ginger and a handful of fresh parsley.

    Recipe #258283

Jamie Oliver's Lemon Pickle. Excellent for serving with curry. When I made this I could only get 'Barts' dried curry leaves and I used a small handfull probably about a desert spoonfull. I couldn't get 'urad' dal (small dried split peas) only yellow mung dal. The yellow mung dal might be slightly larger - I just cooked it a bit longer than he's book said. The pickle turned out fine.

    Recipe #258242

This is a Jamie Oliver Recipe for a really tasty and 'posh' looking salad. You will want about 3 large handfuls of rocket. The lettuce should be Oak leaf lettuce if you can get it. But you can use any salad leaves you like. The pancetta must be thinly sliced, or you can use thin sliced dry-cured smoked streaky bacon.

    Recipe #257197

A very easy starter and very tasty! The scallops are cooked in the fat and juices from the bacon and they take on a lovely browned colour.

    Recipe #256282

This recipe comes from a Nigel Slater book. It makes enough for 3 as a light lunch. Use thinly sliced pancetta and leftover cold boiled potatoes. You don't have to use gruyere cheese you can use any easy melting cheese you fancy.

    Recipe #255774

Very quick and easy to make. I made this up myself last night and tested it on husband Paul - we both loved it.

    Recipe #255768

Simple to make and perfect for cold winter nights. Be sure to get nice big ones of even size so they all cook at the same time. You can serve on their own as a snack, or with a nice salad. You can even just add cheese or serve with steak or chicken -the choice is yours!

    Recipe #255543

Easy and very yummy baked potatoes with a smoky, creamy sauce. **Please note - The potatoes need to be baked as in my Recipe #255543. Enough for two as a main dish. Serve with a nice green salad. **Please also note this recipe does not include the time for the potatoes to have been baked first. The time stated is only to make the delicious filling.

    Recipe #255432

A Peter Gordon recipe. I made it last week and it was so delicious! The smell of the spices as they're cooking is amazing! Only problem is if you haven't got a lot of the spices already it can work out a bit expensive - but you will not be disappointed. Makes a 'posh' starter for a dinner party.

    Recipe #254695

Really easy and very yummy sauce that goes so well on a nice juicy steak.

    Recipe #254493

Really creamy and filling pasta dish that doesn't really need anything else with it - except a glass or two of wine! You don't have to use fresh spaghetti - dried will be fine but I think fresh is better if you have it. The cooking time will be longer if you use dried. See the pack instructions for how long to cook Serves two very hungry people!

    Recipe #254486

I got this recipe from a Nigel Slater cook book but when I made it I altered it to include chopped garlic as I think it makes it nicer. Really nice although Camembert can be a bit smelly!
