This is my absolute most favorite meal. My mom made this alot for us growing up, and since we're now grown and out of the house, it's a favorite Sunday dinner when we all get together. Sometimes I will also add prepared frozen meatballs to the sauce.
This is the chili my mom always made for us growing up, and it has become one of my husband's very favorite things to make. We usually use fresh garlic in place of the garlic powder, 4 or 5 cloves chopped up. We usually garnish with shredded CheddarJack cheese and serve with garlic bread.
Everyone I've ever made these cookies for describes them as very similar to tea cakes; they are very fluffy with a unique flavor. The recipe was given to me by a close friend of my great-aunt Jackie. They are YUM YUM good!!
This is a recipe I got from a friend's grandmother; everyone who has ever tried it has wanted the recipe. They're also usually surprised at how easy it is to make; they think it takes alot more work than it does. If you don't like blueberries, you can try other types of fruit; one of the ladies at work told me she tried it with raspberries and it was just as good.
