The original recipe came from Allrecipes.com but I made some minor changes. I added a can of black beans and increased the cilantro and lime juice amounts. This is a really nice (and light) side dish for summer grill outs! ENJOY!!
I, of all places, found this recipe in US Weekly. Random, I know. I gave it a try and it is REALLY good. I have taken it to a few BBQ's and people always want the recipe! Plus it could NOT be easier to make!
I found this recipe on 3fatchicks.com. These sausage patties are really good and my husband and I really liked them. The flavor is really nice with all the spices. Plus they are healthier than your typical sausage patties. A nice alternative when trying to eat well! Enjoy!
This is a recipe for gluten-free chocolate chip cookies off the back of the Pamela's Pancake and Baking Mix. They are SO good! I love Pamela's products and recommend them to anyone who is living gluten-free!
This is a recipe from allrecipes.com. These are pretty dense and not as cakey as the name implies but still really good! Also the recipe calls for cocoa powder but it is optional. I don't use it just because I prefer vanilla to chocolate cupcakes but it is entirely your preference! Also...I am not a frosting person (I always use to scrape it off as a kid...haha) so I don't frost mine but definitely you can! Enjoy!
I also made mine gluten free and I used Rob's Red Mill's All Purpose Gluten Free Flour.
These are really good. I got the orginial recipe from Sparkspeople but I made a few changes. I made mine gluten-free by using Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free All Purpose Flour (instead of the whole wheat flour), I used unsweetened applesauce (instead of oil to make it lower fat) and lastly I used vanilla flavored yogurt instead of plain. They were declared a huge hit by husband who has already inhaled 2 while I am typing this! ENJOY!
This recipe came from Taste of Home. I SO wanted to like this but with that said if I were rating it I would probably give it 4 stars for flavor but only 3 stars for appearance and texture. The bread crumbs never crsiped up and I even broiled the salmon for a few minutes. I didn't want to keep broiling it because I didn't want to overcook the fish. I did use gluten-free breadcrumbs (which might be why they didn't crisp.) So any suggestions would be appreciated because the actual flavor of the dish was REALLY good!
My friend Zach gave me this recipe. It is his version of meatloaf and we love it! My husband makes this at least twice a month and freezes the leftovers for lots of use! He makes sandwiches, crumbles it up in eggs, etc...enjoy!
This recipe is from Dr. Jane Pentz, from a book called. "If You Don't Take Care of Your Body, Where Are You Going to Live?" She has some fantastic recipes but this one is really nice. My husband and I will grill these up on the back patio with a glass of wine and have a date night at home...sometimes those are the best nights of all! Enjoy!
**The prep time includes marinating time!
This recipe came from Eating Well. I would make one change however and only use half the amount of blueberries suggested. I have also made this with frozen peaches and it was really good too. It is really easy, versatile and healthy! Can't beat it!
