This recipe came from Taste of Home's Quick Cooking magazine. It is so simple to make. It is very refreshing in the summer. A nice desert without being too heavy when it's hot out. To slice the strawberries quickly, I just cut the top off and then place them on an egg slicer. They end up being the perfect size slice! Cooking time is for the time it will take for the pie to set up in the fridge.
Saw this on Semi-Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee on Food Network. Made it for my husband when he came back from working out of town for a month and it was fabulous. I have never had Tiramisu but my Mom had eaten it before and she says it tastes just as good as the real stuff! A really quick and elegant dessert.
Saw Rachael Ray for 30 Minute Meals make these. I thought it would be something different for Christmas Eve dinner, since my DH loves them and I always refuse to make them. Not these...they are DELICIOUS! Even my two year old son loves them!
This cake has been in my family for as long as I can remember! Very moist and fluffy cake. Great as a snack for the family or for a small gathering. I have received so many compliments on this cake! Use your imagination. It doesn't need to be topped with any icing, or can handle it if you do.
These were always a big request from my family at Christmas time. They are so easy to make and something that is a little different from ordinary Christmas cookies. They also can be changed around. Not in the mood for dates, just use dried apricots instead of dates and omit the walnuts for apricot bars instead!
This recipe has been part of our family for a long time. It is always a big request around Thanksgiving. The sweet potatoes are so creamy and the topping is crunchy. Hope you love these as much as I do!
