This is not a soup - rather a quick and cheap skillet meal that tastes great and is very filling! It is also very good as leftovers!

    Recipe #442295

My interpretation of a classic lemon bread recipe! Very Moist with lots of lemon flavor and great texture from the poppyseeds and nuts.

    Recipe #439402

This is a quick and simple recipe that was created out of my need to do something different with a skin on salmon fillet. (I was also itching to try out my new oven safe pans!) I really love the flavor of slightly burnt almonds!

    Recipe #320124

This recipe originally came off of either the back of a box of minute rice or the back of a can of green beans - I can't recall which! I have adapted it to my tastes. For me it is a quick easy weeknight meal that is even better as leftovers! I also love that it is a one-dish meal for easy clean-up!

    Recipe #320110

This is my spicy version of a classic white bean and sausage soup. I puree one can of the beans and leave the other undrained for thickness and richness. All of the herb measurements are approximate - I never really measure, just add until it looks right!! This is so quick and easy and especially satisfying on a chilly day!

    Recipe #319991

This is an easy and delicious cinnamon quick bread recipe from my aunt.

    Recipe #317453

Another recipe from the Time-Life Family Favorites collection. Absolutely delicious and very figure friendly!!

    Recipe #269652

Delicious energy-boosting bar recipe originally found in the June 2007 Home Cooking magazine with some of my own modifications. Easy recipe made entirely in the microwave.

    Recipe #269645

This recipe is from the Time-Life Family Favorites collection. I use my own homemade curry powder, posted on this site in this recipe. Be forewarned - this is extremely spicy with both the curry powder and the red pepper flakes so make at your own risk! The raisins are optional - I usually don't add them but if they sound good to you go for it!

    Recipe #269470

Not your traditional porcupine meatball in the slightest! A fresh combination of flavors, simmered in chicken broth and served with a delicious lemon sauce. One of my favorite meatball recipes.

    Recipe #269469

This recipe is from the Time-Life Family Favorites collection. I have modified it to suit my tastes. The walnuts and basil really make this dish. You can use any frozen veggie combo in this as long as they are small veggies - I use peas and corn.

    Recipe #269467

Mom's classic bean soup recipe. Perfect to have on the stove all day making your house smell wonderful on a cold Saturday! This is truly fabulous comfort food! Note: All beans used in this recipe are dried ones - not canned. You may substitute yellow split peas for the lentils, or black beans for the red ones. Also, you should not use quick-cooking or minute rice! I really recommend using the ham hocks - they add such wonderful flavor to the soup!

    Recipe #255736

Fantastic biscuit recipe from the Food Network's test kitchen! Makes awesome sandwiches (especially arugula and prosciutto

    Recipe #255101

Easy and delicious crock pot recipe. From a Successful Farming Recipe Collection cookbook published in 2000 by the Meredith Corporation. Really awesome cookbook by the way - VERY highly recommended!!

    Recipe #253855

An adapted Paula Deen recipe I found online.

    Recipe #253703

Another great slow cooker recipe from the Successful Farming Recipe Collection cookbook. Can be used as a great side dish or can also be an easy one-dish meal!

    Recipe #253701

Found this in a low-calorie microwave cookbook from 1984. I haven't tried it yet but I am intrigued...

    Recipe #253698

This is another of my Mom's classic recipes. I have no idea where she got it but it is the ultimate comfort food for me! You can also add some frozen peas to this to make it a one-dish meal.

    Recipe #253640

I absolutely love this recipe! I got it from another on-line site long ago and have adapted it to my tastes. It is a "real Italian" calzone because there is no tomato sauce inside of it. I serve it with warmed tomato/marinara sauce to dip or pour over top! Feel free to change the filling to suit your own tastes! This makes a massive amount of calzone but it freezes well. I usually bake only 1 calzone (which will serve about 4 people) and freeze the other.

    Recipe #253631

This is one of my favorite recipes from my childhood. I always loved to get my hands messy with this one!
