Posted for ZWT6. Adapted from Sanjeev Kapoor's website. Marinated with yogurt and spices and cooked with chilies and onions in a walnut tomato cream sauce. The type of chicken used is not specified, I would use a mix of breasts and thighs.
Easy and elegant, a perfect romantic dinner for mushroom lovers! The wild mushrooms can be anything you like. The recipe recommends morels, chanterelles, shitake, oyster mushrooms, or a combination of them. We have only tried this with shitake so far with excellent results.
A delicious and unique pizza that uses Monterey Jack cheese and an unusual sauce made out of artichoke marinade liquid, vinegar, and spices. Adapted from cooks.com recipe. The original called for a 16 oz Boboli bread shell, but we haven't tried that.
My father-in-law's recipe. A nice, easy weeknight meal! You may serve the chicken whole or cut-up into bite-size pieces. We've had the most success with keeping the flour coating on when the chicken is whole.
This is an oven-baked version of recipe #316377, which uses the grill. I have also changed some ingredient amounts for personal tastes (more filling and sauce). I used Sharon123's Recipe #240822 for the mole.
From my mother-in-law. This carrot cake does not have a cream cheese frosting. I have not had this yet, but my hubby says it's wonderful. He says that he can't taste the bananas in the cake, but it's been years since he's had it, so that might be wrong. He says it's really good though.
This recipe is on the back of the bag of Lundberg's white arborio, although I have made a few modifications for our taste, such as leaving out the onion. I recommend chicken broth instead of water because it adds a lot more flavor.
The richest version of this cake I've had, probably due to the addition of sour cream, chocolate chips and German chocolate to the cake :)
Note: The coconut and nuts are supposed to be listed for both the cake and icing ingredients. For the icing, use whatever amount you prefer.
Now that the weather is getting warmer, I find myself looking forward to pasta salads and melon. Why not combine the two? One of my favorite pasta salads from BHG "Fresh and Simple Pasta Pronto". Swiss cheese can be substituted for the fontina.
Posted for ZWT6: Great Britain. Looks like a delicious summer treat! The original said 1 wineglass of red wine, so I put down the typical amount for a glass of wine. Feel free to add more if you feel it needs it! Prep time does not include chilling.
