This came from a book I have on household hints and ideas for everyday cleaning - I’ve taken some time and tried various soaps and found Dawn Power Clean is AWESOME. It is truly magic as the title states. It cleans the soap scum off my glass shower doors with hardly any scrubbing. I also keep a bottle in the kitchen and use it for stuck on foods! Try it on your grill - it really helps cut the grease! You need two 24 oz squirt bottles for this.

I know what you are thinking – Chicken Pizza – no way. That was my exact thought – chicken doesn’t go on pizza. Pizza is supposed to be red sauce, pepperoni, cheese, etc. – my kids still feel that way. But as an adult you get bored with eating the same things all the time – at least I do. It’s time to spice things up a bit – get a little wild in the kitchen. I had noticed where some pizza shops offered a barbequed chicken pizza or even a wild buffalo-wing pizza. Why not try my hand at making my own - It could be good – you will never know until you try. My husbands Uncle visits often on the weekends and I usually make a nice meal for us – well this particular weekend I told him I wanted to try a new recipe - a barbecued chicken pizza. He said he had tried some before at a local pizza shop and said it was good. SO my husband and his Uncle Paul agreed to be my official taste testers so to say……. I was paid the best compliment by Uncle Paul – he said that my pizza was way better than the pizza shop one he had – OH happy happy me! I must add my own two cents - this was a very good pizza even with chicken on it. A delicious alternative to tomato sauce based pizzas! You are probably wondering okay what did my husband think – well he said it was good – but given the fact that my husband doesn’t like barbecue sauce – he preferred the steak pizza I made or regular pizza. BUT he was a very good sport and gave it a try.

This ham and cheese sandwich is great as an appetizer, snack or a light meal. Ham and Swiss cheese are baked inside rolls with a flavorful spread to form delicious little sandwiches. I can guarantee everyone will be asking for more ham and cheese pleeze…….

    Recipe #144688

Honey, whole wheat and just a little bit of butter are just a few ingredients that make up these tasty country style sandwich rolls. They freeze well too!

LOVE fried chicken but hate to think of the calories and the mess? Here is a great recipe. It is the best non-fried chicken recipe that I've tasted. Chicken is battered and breaded, but then baked instead of fried.

    Recipe #113843

This is my mom's recipe. It is a family requested recipe that she usually makes for Christmas. She's even added green food coloring to the cool whip to give it the festive look.

    Recipe #80865

Description:When you think of Fall I think of Apples - Carmel Apples! Try this nifty salad - it sounds odd but is very tasty! I have used FAT Free Cream Cheese, Cool Whip and Sugar Free Pudding and it still tastes great!!!! Cook time is chill time. What I like is the look on people's faces when they ask WHAT'S IN IT?

    Recipe #74258

This is a great tasting Dill Dip that I have used for years. I usually double this recipe and keep it on hand. Cook Time is Chill Time

    Recipe #73087

If you like Stromboli's you'll love this recipe! This is a huge hit with my family - but it also goes over very well at a covered dish function!

    Recipe #70953

This is a nice dish -- what I like about it is the EASE -- put it in the crock pot and forget it!

    Recipe #67780

This sounds like such a simple recipe that many people pass it up ...DON'T! Cooking new potatoes this way makes them taste wonderful, especially with butter. You must have a cast iron pan to do this. The stovetop browning makes the skins crunchy and out of this world.

    Recipe #67223

Add some Zip to your grilled steak! Cook time is to your desired doneness.

    Recipe #67217

Looking for an out of this world burger? Maybe something different than the usual burger? Try this.........Cook time - would be to your desired taste and however you like your burger!

    Recipe #67216

This recipe was given to me about 20 years ago from a very dear friend. This chicken is very tasty especially when grilled and basted often. I need to make a notation on this recipe: This is not a thick saucy recipe - it is a salty/briny recipe. This can be baked -BUT - I will say it is much better when you grill and baste the chicken frequently. I myself like to add extra Worcestershire sauce. Another added note is on the vinegar - I use Heinz Apple Cider Vinegar -- NOT -- Distilled or White. This recipe is actually used quite often at Chicken BBQ's or at festivals and fairs in our hometown.

    Recipe #67077

Here is an excellent Sourdough Starter that you can use to add rich flavor to bread and rolls. This starter takes time to mature, but the taste is well worth the wait. Nothing beats the tang and chewy texture of sourdough bread, especially when it comes straight out of your own oven. From its firm crust to its soft interior, this bread is in a class of its own.

This is a tasty bread machine recipe
