I made up this 1/2 recipe for my daughter, who is on the GFCF diet. This way, I don't waste the expensive gluten-free flour. You can make these as regular pancakes or add gluten-free chocolate chips or blueberries while cooking for a special treat.
This is a very handy, economical way to make your own detergent for the dishwasher. It really works and you don't have that overpowering bleachy smell in your kitchen from using the store-bought dishwasher detergents. You absolutely do not have to worry about this sudsing up in your dishwasher. It is also handy for when you have baked on messes on cookie sheets or pots. Throw a tablespoon in with some soaking water and the mess comes up great. Note: this is not edible - this is a recipe for homemade dishwasher soap.
There used to be a recipe my mom made back in the '70s where you'd take a box of powdered coconut pecan frosting mix and mix it with peanut butter and some other ingredients to make these amazing Christmas cookies.
Well, they stopped making that boxed frosting mix, so I had to figure out how to make these again with regular ingredients. These taste just the way my mom used to make them at Christmastime.
I have named my version dirty snowflakes.
