Watching my grandpa make cornbread over the years I am now soo sad I never asked him for the recipe, that and his biscuits are now lost forever, I am trying to recreate them and this is the closest I've come to the cornbread. Though it is nowhere near what he made. It is a tweaking of several recipes and of what I remember, and do not add sugar!! I will cry if anyone does!!

    Recipe #122531

I was horrified to see that all the dressing recipes on the site seemed to have cornbread and bread in them!!! I never heard of adding bread to dressing!! This is my family's oldest recipe, no one knows who's it is, it has been passed down from mouth for generations!!

    Recipe #122526

I love this soup! I could eat the whole thing! This tastes like what you would eat at a nice restaurant!

    Recipe #122525

This came from the Justin Wilson Website. I only get to eat this when I'm going through LA on my way to see family in MS, so when I saw this I was overjoyed. Mostly posting this so I don't lose it!! :)

    Recipe #122511

This sounds really good though I have not tried it yet. Let me know how it is! I got it off of the Justin Wilson Website and had to post it to keep up with it!!

    Recipe #122506

Even though i grew up eating these I never can seem to make them! I can make gourmet dinners and desserts but i can't make pralines or bread!! But i got this recipe from the justin wilson website and it's as authentic as you can get. Good luck!!

    Recipe #122503

This is absolutetly yummy!! I took this to several work functions and potlucks and this was always one of the first things gone!! I grew up eating pecan pie but this particular recipe comes from one of those little recipe booklets, I can't remember which one, with my tweaking of it of course!

    Recipe #122498

These are a great and yummy alternative to regular old mashed potatoes!! This is a simple country recipe with it's origins from the British regions, then made it's way over to Canada and the US.

    Recipe #122449

I got this from the Land o Lakes web site. This, of course, has it's roots from Scotland. It's soo easy and good. I can eat the whole pan myself! But I usually give it out as gifts during the holiday season, try it and see how good and easy it is!

    Recipe #121931

I grew up eating these at every holiday and now make them myself for every holiday! They are so simple and yummy!

    Recipe #121559

I used to buy pita bread and have lots left over. So I would make these and serve them at weekend parties with dips, my Okinawan friends loved them!

    Recipe #121546

This is o simple and soo good. I remember me and my roomies lived off of this at spring break at Padre Island cause we spent all our money on booze!!

    Recipe #121471

This is the only way I've ever had catfish. I can't stand to eat it fried in restaurants, it tastes muddy to me, but I can eat it this way.

This is another recipe I grew up with. This is passed down from word of mouth, no one has ever written it down before! Fresh, fried okra is soo simple to fix and soo good!

I don't like the stuff that comes out of jars too much so I came up with this! Anyone can make it! This is a traditional Tex-Mex recipe.

    Recipe #121276

I found this on a website and tweaked it, after having this in several restaraunts while living overseas. I cannot find it anyplace stateside so this is the best interpretation of Chili shrimp I could find.

    Recipe #121267

I love to drink these in the mornings. I'd rather drink this than eat in the mornings before I go to work, sometimes you're just not very hungry that early in the morning and this sticks with you through the day.
