This is a wonderful blend of ingredients for a "Chef Salad". Great HOT WEATHER food ! Sliced turkey or chicken, shrimp, sliced ham, cheese, hard boiled eggs, olives, pickled beets, some sliced red onion and any and all other ingredients tossed with cold crisp lettuce! This is perfect! It will keep , refrigerated of course for up to 2 weeks!
I got this recipe from our local newspaper. It sounds like it would be a great dessert for holiday entertaining. Not a lot of work to this recipe and I think it would be an elegant and easy dessert for a dinner party too. How can anything with cream cheese be BAD! I have not made this recipe, but am going to try it soon. Cook time includes chill time.
Apple season is here again and I am dying to try this recipe! It just begs to be baked on a cool fall afternoon, filling the kitchen with those yummy, warm, cinnamon-apple smells! It comes from a Taste of Home Cookbook -- "Contest Winning Annual Recipes 2004”.
This recipe is from a PBS telethon cooking show. This casserole is loaded with mashed potatoes, cheese, butter and hard salami, then baked till hot and cheesy! It sounds wonderful. I have not made this recipe, it is a recipe request.
A nice summer salad that is refreshing and a little different than the regular broccoli salad we are all used to. Give it a try! I got this recipe from Taste of Home's Contest Winning Annual Recipes 2004 cookbook.
This is GOOD! A nice LOW FAT salad that will help you get those veggies into your diet! This is NOT an overly sweet salad, but the raisins and sweet red bell pepper help to balance the tart vinegar. This is a favorite of mine and I hope you enjoy it too! This comes from the Sun-Maid Raisin folks!
This is a recipe request for pinto beans. It is from an old work cookbook that I have had for about 26 years. It is a treasured book full of wonderful recipes and wonderful memories of some really great people!
