The secret to the best tasting chocolate chip cookies is to use only brown sugar. It makes them chewier and stay more "fresh baked" tasting. Try them for yourself, you won't go back to ordinary cookies ever again!

Not quite sure where this got it's name but it's definitely a winner in my book! Comforting and filling, you can't go wrong.

Not only is this the easiest fudge to make, it's also the best tasting...well, at least in my opinion. The problem with a lot of fudge recipes is the need for cooking on the stove and a candy thermometer. This is so easy you can have the kids help you make it. UPDATE: I reduced the amount of salt listed due to reviewer feed back and listed it as optional.

These are like steak fries taken to the next level. Contrary to their name they don't have any ranch dressing in them.

These are S'mores but less messy to eat. Kids love them. Times listed don't include chilling time.

Although this is a messy project, kids love it. I used to make this for families when I was still babysitting, and always got requests for it from puzzled parents calling to ask me to sit for them again. It's a great way to keep kids occupied while having a little fun in the kitchen.

This is such a great dish you will end up adding it to your regular line up. My husband likes to have this with tortillas to make sure he gets all the sauce. I haven't tried it yet but my husband wants me to try making it with cubed pork loin.

This is a cross between a pot pie and gumbo. I love the combo of the crispy puff pastry and the saucy filling.

I LOVE mustard and this one is really good. Both sweet and tangy it's great with just about everything. It's really easy to make too...in the microwave!

Hungarian beef stew, comforting and warming. All my husbands friend flock around in the fall when I make this. I prefer to omit the potatoes and serve over noodles.

This is my adaptation of a recipe I found from Campbell's soup years ago. I have the directions for cooking in the oven listed but my new favorite way to make this is to cook it in my crockpot. I put it on high for 4 hours, this is especially handy during the holidays when the oven is occupied by other things.

Flank steak is one of my favorite cuts of beef. It takes on the flavor of marinates well and has a great texture. I like to serve this with steamed rice and sugar snap peas. Times do not inclued the stay in the refrigerator.

When I make this for family functions I usually bring along blueberry pie filling for people to top it with. It is very good with other fruits and plain as well.
