I love a good cookie - But THESE cookies have made me melt since grade school. I am careful not to make too many when I'm home alone for any length of time. There will be none for anyone else and I am left with "cookie eaters remorse" for DAYS afterwards. This is my favorite *instant gratification* treat. You won't be disappointed... Unless someone gets to them before you do. (Thanks, Grandma D!)
I got this recipe from an OLD "Pillsbury Kitchens' Family Cookbook". I have been using this recipe since I was in High School, so that should tell you how EASY they are to put together and they are such a hit! You can do anything with them. Add fruits for a yummy breakfast dish, chicken and cheeses for a dinner dish (VERY good), or sweet fillings and powdered sugar for a dessert.
I found this great recipe printed on the back of a bag of chocolate chips. My husband and I are HUGE mocha fans, so this tasty cookie is exactly what I was looking for. Not to mention the touch of Kahlua in the icing. Yummy!
This is an amazing spin on french toast that can either be a rich and tasty breakfast or an indulgent dessert. This requires overnight preparation, so the time does not reflect that. Oh, but these are so worth it!
The credit for this recipe goes to Marc Murphy. Yet another wonder pulled from the pages of one of my many newlywed magazines. MMMmmmm...
My godmother made these brownies for my brother and I when we were growing up. All I remember is that they were my favorite and I couldn't get enough of them. Believe me, I tried! I am still a huge Kahlua fan and these brownies are , by far, one of my favorite ways to enjoy it.
*A batch of these also make a GREAT gift during the holiday season!*
