Just great food. Serve for breakfast or maybe supper with rice or a type of potato or just because. Time to make is just a guess. It depends on the size of the apple. So keep an eye on it.

    Recipe #254895

Using leftover steak or roast you can make a great second meal by just adding a few ingredients.

    Recipe #286599

I remember this from a lot of years ago in a cookbook I saw somewhere. I have made it off and on for a long time. Just good.

    Recipe #254891

I got this recipe out of the 1994 edition Great American Cookbook and have used it many times. My wife and I like it as well as the rest of the family if they happen to be around. It's very easy to make and smells wonderful while it cooks. I served this today with a baked white acorn squash and buttered brussel sprouts.

    Recipe #255046

A kind of tart beef sauce with this steak although not overly. The cloves give it a distinctive flavor. The vinegar tenderizes it. Just good food I think.

    Recipe #254884

A great casserole recipe with that "South of the Border taste". Recipe adapted from the 1977 Better Homes and Gardens All Time Favorite Casserole Recipes.

    Recipe #286649

A nice compliment to your main dish.

    Recipe #286586

I found this recipe several years ago in a local newspaper. It was submitted by a local lady. I have found this to be the best meatloaf recipe that I have ever tried. I don't like the drier meatloaf. This is nice and moist although not for a dieter.

    Recipe #252223

This is a recipe that is good any time of year but especially in the fall when the apples ar coming on. Easy to make and OHH!! so good.

    Recipe #254893

Just a very simple way to get sweet & sour taste without all the hassle. I threw this together several years ago and everyone likes it. I made it for dinner last night and served it with rice and stir fried noodles and veggies and it just disappeared. I use contadina brand sweet & sour (important) because other brands just don't taste right. The chicken will fall off the bone it is so tender. Hope you enjoy.

    Recipe #292662

A very easy recipe to make. The result is a very pleasing steak I believe. My mother made a version of this and I just put it together the best I can remember and I think it is almost as good as hers. You can use round, sirloin or any good steak for this. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

    Recipe #254879

Just a great way to use inexpensive chuck roast and have great flavor. Easy to make and easy to enjoy.
