Got this off the package of fettuccine noodles. I like that the ingrdients can be purchased in the quantites needed, so no half open packages are in my pantry. Kids and adults alike love it and it goes with everything! Most important step is to add the butter first.
This is a lovely pasta dish with a creamy sauce. Shrimp and Snow peas complement each others flavors very well.
Shortcut note: I keep pesto frozen in my freezer to make this. I put the veggies in a handheld strainer and poach them in the same pot as the pasta is cooking in.
This is a recipe of a wife of a coworker. She made them for Christmas and they are wonderful. The crust is almost like a shortbread cookie and the filling creamy cheese. Easy to make and very elegant looking.
This is a sweet tasting vinaigrette that is great for salads and easy to make and is lo-carb tho it works well with sugar too. Step one is important for the sugar/splenda to disolve. You can add spices if you like.
Only 7 ingredients, no tomatoes, no soup mixes, just a crock pot. I put the meat in before work, add the veggies when I get home and have a great meal quick. I often peel the taters and put them in the fridge covered with water until its time to throw them in, cuts after work prep time.
I created this recipe when I was 20, I was always invited to the family get togethers, but never asked to bring something- I was still considered one of the "kids." I tried to copy an appetizer I had at a Jersey Shore restaurant- not sure which one. It became a family classic and I am always asked to bring it now. They reheat very easy in the oven. How many you get depends on the size of the mushrooms, you can also substitute Parmesan for the breadcrumbs.
