I just tried this recipe as a new meal tonight and it will definately be a keeper.
I got it out of a " Taste of Home Quick Cooking" book.
Was easy to make and big on taste!
I tweeked it just a bit but the end results are still the same.
These are fantastic on a steak or top a baked potatoes with them.
We never have steak without these!
You can use fresh or canned!
All seasonings are by taste; I think this is the perfect blend but you adjust to your own.
I found this recipe when I was looking for this recipe or one close to it.
I tried this at Subway and really liked it.
Subway always uses light Mayo. In this recipe the salt and pepper are optional.
Use more or less mayo to suit your own taste and the same with the fruits.
I like to add a few more fruits.
There is no cook time unless you are cooking your chicken for this recipe.
I use left over or canned.
I never thought that I would enjoy fruit teas as much as do until I had a glass of raspberry iced tea.
Refreshing and delicious.
I tried several ways and then this way.
The blend is not too strong or weak, and not too sweet.
Although if you want to you could add more sugar if you like.
I made this about like the recipe for parfaits.
Again with the jars which I think is a great idea.
Take them about anywhere and not worry about them. Course you can use parfait glasses too.
These are good and seem to be filling too.
My Husband found this recipe one day while at work.
He brought it home to me and said "Let's try this for Christmas" and so we did.
Not over spicy and not hot but you can heat it up if you want to!
A very simple recipe to make. Add more or less of your favorite seasonings!
USES PORK CHOPS AND BOXED POTATOES AND MAKES FOR A FLAVORFUL ONE DISH MEAL.
What's great about this recipe is that you can use it in the crock pot, make ahead and refrigerate till ready to use.
IT's also full of variations.
Use any flaovr potatoes, cheese, onion or not and other vegetables.
Use more pork chops, larger box of potatoes, and a bigger baking pan.
This is just so simple and versatile. You can put anything in it you like.
Make more to go with it or not. DH and I like it just this way because it can be filling depending on what you put in it.
Seasonings are to your taste. I change them all the time depending on what I add to these. The more servings you need, you can add extra of any of the ingredients. This is also a budget stretcher.
Cooking time does not include adding more than ingredients listed.
If you use meat, be sure to precook it first and drain.
I got this recipe from a friend long ago.
It's very tasty and easy to make.
I find it a nice change from the typical vinegar and sugar.
Peel or not to peel cucumbers is your choice.
No cook time.
I use light taste and color olive oil.
I tried this one out of my crockpot book and DH has been asking for this at least twice per month. He loves it!
I use the 93% beef because the less fat the better.
The low salt and Lactose free milk are what I use, feel free to use what ever you like.
