This is a recipe that I got from a little recipe book from Old El Paso.
I just added the home made chili to it.
I have also used beef in place of chicken.
This recipe is also good with low fat and no fat cheeses and sour cream.
I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do!
I made this about like the recipe for parfaits.
Again with the jars which I think is a great idea.
Take them about anywhere and not worry about them. Course you can use parfait glasses too.
These are good and seem to be filling too.
I just tried this recipe as a new meal tonight and it will definately be a keeper.
I got it out of a " Taste of Home Quick Cooking" book.
Was easy to make and big on taste!
I tweeked it just a bit but the end results are still the same.
Looking back in my book I found another good one from "Taste of Home Quick Cooking".
I don't own parfait glasses so I use half pint canning jars instead; besides it comes with its own lid.
This recipe will be very versatile in that you can change to most any flavor of pie filling. These would be great in the summer and there is no cooking so it won't heat the house!
Sure to please your family!
Smells great baking. Elegant to serve.
Wonderful to taste!
I serve this on fall holidays and it's a hit!
Change the fruits and it still the best!
(Weights at the end of directions).
Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream!
These are just like cheeseburgers except they are served in taco shells.
For Diehard cheeseburger fans, you can still add your pickle!
This is also fun for tailgating parties!
I used all Old El Paso Brand for this recipe.
I got this recipe from an Old El Paso Cookbook.
These cookies are really cute for a Halloween party. Kids really enjoy painting the faces on these cookies. Stand cookies up in a pail of candy corn and you also have a cute table decoration! Times below do not include cooling and decorating times.
This is so good during the good ol' summer days. So refreshing. You can use other berries too! Just match to Jello or mix and match.
Top with whipped cream and oh yum. Tastes like strawberry shortcake!
This recipe was given to me by my Grandma In-Law several years ago.
It's been an all time favorite in our family for years now.
I only had one red potato when I was making this recipe but I also had 1 yam.
So I used it just like the red potato and it was every bit as good!
So now I make it red for him and oranger for me!
