This is a wonderful, chunky, "meal in a bowl" chowder that gains rave reviews whenever i serve it. It is my own recipe, adapted from a roasted corn and sweet potato chowder recipe by Lucy Waverman. My dad, who can't STAND yams or sweet potatoes, always asks me to make my delicious "carrot" soup when he comes to visit (what he doesn't know won't hurt him!). Although this looks time consuming, if you prep and chop your ingredients before hand, you can throw this together quite quickly. Serving size is approximate - depending on if you eat this as a meal or a side dish. Enjoy!

a creamy, one-dish casserole that satisfies even the pickiest eaters. i developed this from a plain hashbrown casserole side dish recipe in one of my weight watchers cookbooks. i usually serve this with applesauce and green salad. the leftovers are great the next day for lunch. for anyone else on ww, each serving is 4 points.

This is a fabulous, low fat alternative to traditional caesar salad. I was skeptical at first, but being a huge Caesar Salad freak on weight watchers, I had to try. This is now the only way I will make it. Anchovy paste IS a key ingredient - I have left it out and was dissappointed with the, even if you scoff at anchovies...YOU HAVE TO USE IT HERE OR IT WON'T BE THE SAME!!! For anyone on the ww point system, this recipe is 3 pts per serving (2 cups)

This recipe, in response to a request, is from a 1916 Campbell's Cookbook. It is one of our favorites - I usually double the sour cream and add a can of button mushrooms to the sauce, but i posted the recipe as it is printed in the cookbook. Enjoy!

a hearty vegetarian meal that will fool any meat eaters into thinking it's full of beef (make it without telling them - i promise they will NEVER know!). i developed this recipe because i love tacos AND i love chili - but i had to find a lower fat version to make since starting weight watchers. a one cup serving of this will fill you up for only 3 points.
