Warning: Not for those watching calories or cholesterol! This is my all-time favorite bread pudding recipe. Perfect for fall/winter special occasions. Serve with sweetened whipped cream.

    Recipe #129290

This is one of our all-time favorite weeknight meals. It is quick, simple to prepare, and makes the house smell wonderful while it is cooking. Be sure to have all the ingredients chopped and ready to go prior to cooking. We like our pasta spicy, but you can control the "heat" with the amount of red pepper flakes you use. Serve with hot, crusty bread dipped in great olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

    Recipe #59088

This is one of our favorite springtime side dishes, great served with grilled pork or chicken. We like it especially spicy hot, but you can adjust the heat level by adding or deleting some of the pepper flakes and pepper sauce. Leftovers re-heat well in the microwave.

    Recipe #55184

I love Panna Cotta, the traditional Italian eggless custard. It makes a wonderfully light finish to a heavy meal. Occasionally, I depart from the traditional recipe and add a bit of sour cream for a whole new depth of flavor. Fresh fruit is delightful with this dish, though you could serve it with a silky chocolate sauce. Very nice served in heart shaped ramekins! Prep time includes chilling time for the custard. Leftover sauce may be kept in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and served over ice cream, lemon tarts, or ?

    Recipe #55183

Originally from Cuisine magazine, here is a wonderful way to prepare otherwise boring boneless, skinless chicken breasts. The crust on this chicken is delicious and the sage-butter sauce is divine! Excellent served with roasted new potatoes. Don't be intimidated by the number of ingredients or steps - it truly is simple to prepare. Prep time includes "resting" time for the crust.

    Recipe #53845

This is my all time favorite muffin recipe which I adapted to mimic the Ollieberry and Cream Muffins available at Linn's Resturant in Cambria, CA. You can use any type of berry, fresh or frozen. For the freshest possible muffins, I usually mix the dry ingredients together the night before and finish completing the recipe in the morning when I get up. The muffins do stay moist and tender, however, if you choose to bake them in advance. For a streusel coffee cake, double the recipe and bake it in a 9" by 13" pan until the center pops back when poked.

    Recipe #51145

I originally found this recipe on foodtv.com and modified it slightly. It is a terrific dish to serve to guests as the presentation is so spectacular. I have substituted Cajun seasoning for the Southwest seasoning and it works just as well. Serve with a simple salad and french bread.

    Recipe #50602

This simple but tasty chicken dish is in our regular weekly rotation. It can be prepared ahead of time - just wait until you are ready to cook it before you pour the sauce over the tortillas.

    Recipe #50599

This yummy recipe is so easy, it is one of the first recipes my kids learned to cook. Even my husband, a total non-cook, will offer to prepare a batch of lemon bars. The results are always perfect!

    Recipe #50597

This is one of my all-time favorite recipes, especially nice to prepare for those short notice pot lucks. I try to keep the ingredients on hand, so I can whip one up in no time. The cake is incredibly rich and moist.

    Recipe #50596

This is one of my all-time favorite cheesecake recipes, and I am a cheesecake lover! It was originally published in Bon Appetit about 10 years ago. It is simple, yet looks and tastes fabulous. Perfect for a holiday dessert since it can be made ahead of time. I see there are several recipes in Zaar for Bailey's Irish Cream that could be used in this recipe.

    Recipe #48940

I have a dear friend who once traveled throughout Florida seeking the perfect key lime pie. He swears this recipe is better than anything he tasted on his quest, and he sampled a lot of pies!

    Recipe #47836

This has been a family favorite for over 30 years! It is simple to make and perfect for a potluck or summer BBQ. In fact, whenever I make it for a crowd, I receive numerous requests for the recipe. The recipe can be easily cut in half for a smaller crowd, but it does reheat well in the microwave, so your leftovers won't last long!

    Recipe #47834

This is one of our favorite cake recipes, originally published in Cooking from Quilt Country by Marcia Adams. I modified the caramel sauce a bit and increased the amount of the sauce since it is so wonderful! The cake keeps well and can be reheated briefly in the microwave. Extra caramel sauce is divine over ice cream!

    Recipe #47833

Here is a tasty, quick to fix soup that is perfect for a cool evening. You can make it as spicy as you like by adjusting the amount of Tabasco. Don't forget to add the tomatoes at the end - they add an incredible depth of flavor to the soup!

    Recipe #47828

My friend Larry, a lover of all things dessert, declared these are the most outrageous brownies he has ever tasted and nicknamed them "brownies on steroids." They are more like candy than true brownies, and they disappear at our house faster than I can make them. I have heard they keep well, but they never seem to last long enough for me to find out!

    Recipe #47681

This wonderful recipe comes from the December 2002 issue of Bon Appetit. It is very simple to make and looks and tastes fabulous! The peanut butter filling is very light and creamy and is nicely complemented by the chocolate crust. Tart is best made several hours or one day before it is served to allow the crust to soften a bit.

    Recipe #46799

Another wonderful Fall recipe, although I have made it year around whenever the chocolate/nut craving strikes! It is rather like a pecan pie pushed to an even higher level. Originally published about one year ago in Bon Appetit, I modified the recipe to use my favorite nuts. Any combination will work well - just use your immagination!

    Recipe #43386

This is the ultimate fall supper, succulent pork tenderloin and apples grilled on the barbeque and served with a heavenly cream sauce. As a side dish, I include garlic mashed potatoes.

    Recipe #42647

This is an exceptional recipe for otherwise boring boneless, skinless chicken breasts. Good enough for company, yet easy enough for everyday!
