    Recipe #413696

As temperatures drop, nothing warms you like a hot and spicy bowl of delicious "Chill Out" Chili. So here is a great recipe is from Pace, the Picante sauce people. This easy-to-make chili may be cooked on the stovetop or in a crockpot. My favorite way to enjoy it is with rice stirred in. So satisfying!

    Recipe #393965

Originally entitled 1-2-3 Pea Soup in Jenifer Lang Cooks For Kids. This is a thick, vegetarian soup, so good that even little picky-eaters will love it. The kids have grown up and left our nest, but DH and I still enjoy this soup often!

    Recipe #393964

I love jicama dipped in creamy vegetable dip, and thought Why Not just make the crispy jicama part of the creamy dip? It is So Good this way and couldn't be easier. Serve the dip with fresh veggie spears or spread on crackers. Oh Yum!

    Recipe #384245

Plate up a palette of pretty colours. Rich orange grilled salmon, raspberry red borscht sauce, bright white crème fraiche, deep green dill sprigs. A dish that will delight your taste buds as well as your eyes. Lovely served with fresh steamed haricots verts and lemon rice. The recipe makes 8 servings. But do not worry if you are cooking for 2 or 4. Any unused borscht sauce is easily thinned to soup consistency and very flavourful the next day. Enjoy your borscht again hot or as a beautiful cold summer soup!

    Recipe #384217

A very attractive and colorful salad, originally presented on the local television news by Marge Tuckett, but changed up just a bit by me. This tasty salad requires two hours marinating time.

    Recipe #383917

A little different than the other homemade window cleaners posted here, this solution works great and I've saved a lot of money over the years using it!

Back in the day, Momma's porcupine meatballs were made using rice or grated potato. Momma would certainly be pleased by these innovative and delicious morsels cheaply but lovingly made with ramen noodles! Created for the first-ever Dining on a Dollar Cooking Contest..:)

    Recipe #336763

Each bite bursts with flavor as it practically melts in your mouth! The tasty burrito filling can also be used for tacos, enchiladas, or nachos. Leftovers, that is IF you're lucky enough to have any, freeze well.

    Recipe #330921

Chicken, veggies, and rice noodles stir-fried in a yummy peanut sauce -- Quick, easy, and oh so tasty!! This is a great dish created for and almost entered in the RSC #9 contest. I guess it is the one that got away.

    Recipe #330092

A thick icy cold milkshake with just the right blend of chocolate and coffee flavors. We found it surprisingly similar to a Wendy's Frosty. Plan to freeze a few coffee ice cubes in advance. I created this diabetic-friendly recipe with "light" and "sugar-free" ingredients for RSC #12. The shake can also be made using "regular" versions of the ingredients. We like it best that way!

    Recipe #317933

A creamy & refreshing summertime dessert you are sure to enjoy! It would be lovely served at a bridal shower. Individual servings are very pretty presented with whipped cream and a little pineapple ice cream topping. While creating this RSC #12 Contest entry, my objective was to come up with something like an orange creamsicle only made with the combination of pineapple and vanilla flavors. Frozen Pineapple Dream was the deliciously addicting result. I kept this dessert tightly covered in the freezer and ready to serve at a moment's notice. That way we had many opportunities to enjoy the recipe!

    Recipe #317922

These oh so tasty buttermilk pancakes are filled with diced bananas and griddled until golden brown. We enjoyed them with butter and maple syrup. You could serve them lightly dusted with powdered sugar then topped with whipped cream and banana slices. This recipe is simple, quick, and one you will want to make again and again! I created it expressly for RSC #12 after being inspired by some awesome banana macadamia nut pancakes enjoyed during a recent visit to Kauai.

    Recipe #317843

These (32) hot appetizers look festive and taste so wonderful -- Serve them at your next party and no one will guess just how easy they are to make! Please feel free to halve the recipe for purposes of RSC #11 test cooking. Enjoy!
