A healthy recipe I came up with on a whim. I'm a tad underweight(and because I'm on the school meal-plan where I can have only 2 meals a day) and bagels have more calories than pancakes, so I decided to create this as a healthy way to get more calories without consuming fat. As weird as it sounds, it's VERY TASTY! Try it! Due to the fact that toasters toast at different rates (as well as people mashing food at different rates ;), I didn't submit prep or cook times, but it shouldn't take long at all! :)

This is the ONLY sandwich I'd get at Subway. Now, I'd forgo the bologna and cheese, but at home I should try veggie bologna and cheese. Haven't yet, but it's worth a shot! I LOVED this sandwich! And it's simple (not to mention at tad weird with the olives) Nowadays, I'd probably add some tomatoes and peppers (roasted - yum!)

Great alternative. Got from Splenda's website: splenda.com

Low in calories, creamy (even with nonfat milk), alcohol-free, kid-friendly, and nutritious. This was inspired by Heather Sullivan's Strawberry Julius #24088. Can be made vegan using soy milk or even tofu

This recipe makes a thick glaze. Add more water for a thinner glaze. Enough to glaze 42 (3.5 dozen) 2-inch cookies - such as my low-fat oatmeal spice cookies ;) Or try it on cakes, brownies, etc

Technically, this is NOT a recipe - more of a CONCEPT or as a new venture and just a way to add more variety (and flavor and color in some delicious cases) to plain ole hot cereal. Feel free to use with oatmeal, farina (cream of wheat), cream of rice (which could use that extra punch), grits, or cornmeal mush (maybe even porridge)

Use this with my Cabbage-Wrapped Summer Rolls or even try as a marinade. Whatever your heart desires

This has the TASTE and the TEXTURE of a graham cracker crust, but without the fat and calories and with necessary fiber. It's absolutely delish! Feel free to use more cereal if you prefer thicker crusts. The recipe is more than EASILY adaptable! Use for cheesecakes, pies, quiches, whatever requires a crumb crust!

Cucumber-melon is the current trend in bathing accessories, and now in food as well. This is a yummy, summery treat as an appetizer, light lunch with a nice sandwich or salad, or as part of a multi-course meal (or even as a dessert soup). I've been on a real Greek kick lately. Then again, I've got a LOT of ingredient leftovers, so what choice DO I have but to be a little inventive. I've had this salad 3 days in a row and NEVER tire of it. I LOVE it! Hope you will to! :) And it's so simple! Have yet to try it with the olives, but I'm certain it would be divine!

I thought of the concept weeks ago, but tried it out for the first time this morning. It was good. I used only 1/4 tsp vanilla, but I could barely distinguish it, so I recommend using a tad more if you prefer bold flavors like myself. Can be easily doubled, tripled, etc. And experiement with extracts. I'm sure vegans (or non-ovos) can use tofu.

    Recipe #63751

Perfect for vegans, those watching what they eat, or to get more soy protein

So easy to slap together and soooo addictive. I made this up and ate the WHOLE thing!. It does taste like tropical fruit punch! And so healthy too! Have it as a garnish, breakfast, dessert, with fish (salmon), whatever your heart desires

Yet another recipe from Shawn Sidey and Celelbrity Kitchens. Refreshing accompaniment to any BBQ meal. I suggest adding yogurt a little at a time. Mine came out a little too "yougrt-y" Then again, I forgot to blot the cucumber - don't YOU forget like I did. Serves 5 adults generously

Courtesy of Shawn Sidey and Celebrity Kitchens. During the demo, Shawn forgot the coconut milk - didn't even miss it. THIS is FABULOUS (and fabulously EASY). Perfect appetizer, light lunch, or light dinner (if portions are increased). Best served at room temp. Can add a dash of cayenne if you like the heat (and you know *I* do ;)

    Recipe #66827

Got this simple, simple recipe from a cooking class from a local place called "Celelbrity Kitchens" Thanks to chef Shawn Sidey. The serves 4 serves generously. I served 5 adults this and had a little left

Just came up with this. One of those 'hmmmmmm...what can I do with these ingredients' moments. Easy to prepare and just as easy to eat ;)

My dad LOVES these! And he LOVES regular, unhealthy potato chips, so I'm MORE than happy to make these for him. We both like things spicy. I suggest serving with Laura Divine's Low Fat Hummus (40517). Adjust spices to your taste - they are just estimates anyway - I do spices by the senses - feel, smell, and look. Can be easily doubled, tripled, etc - just need to do the oven steps a couple more times to account for the extra chips. Optional Equipment: spray bottle filled with water

    Recipe #58201

Made up this filling for the profiterole recipe I posted since the creme angelaise recipe I was given contained egg yolks (which I avoid like the plague). Enough to fill 1/2 recipe of my profiteroles
