A delicious, thick and very satisfying smoothie. The molasses really adds to the authentic gingerbread flavor of this smoothie so please do not leave it out. We like this very spicy sauce over green beans but think it may be good over other types of veggies also. Ripped this out of a magazine way back when. The magazine recommended marinating shrimp fallowed by grilling with chopped veggies.
We rarely use or need hot fudge this makes just a 1/2 cup of hot fudge.
*For creative flavors: Before cooking add some cinnamon. After cooking blend in instant coffee, flavored liqueurs, dark rum, brand, greated orange or lemon peel.

One of my co-workers used to come running in with a cucumber, couple of carrots, fresh lime and a jar of chili powder, she would slice the veggies and toss with the lime juice and sprinkle the chili powder every few bites or so as a way of having a quick on the run lunch without eating fast food.
A cool and tasty lunch that can be a little tricky to eat unless you buy a skinny cucumber or cut the finished sandwich into slice, I saw a photo on pinterest of a sandwich using cucumber instead of bread. Well the first try tasted good but was very had to eat because I had used a normal size cucumber and in the end cut it into bite size rounds. My second attempt was much better because I found a nice thin cucumber. I used Laughing Cow 50% less fat cheese 35 calories a wedge and 99% fat free turkey 60 calories making this not only low carb but also low fat and low cal :)
