This lends itself well to most fresh fruits. Below is the original recipe I copied, from somewhere way back when I was a mere 17, which is a serving for one. Unlike some recipes you can increase this to feed any number of people without it losing anything.
If you are like us you will want a loaf of French bread to soak up the marinated from these flavorful tomatoes. These tomatoes go very well next grilled marinated meats. **cook time is really chill time**
These were a rare and special treat my Mother would make for my brother and I when we were young. The topping I listed is sugar and cinnamon because that is what we always had as children. But these quick doughnuts can be topped with any number of things such as a chocolate glaze, powdered sugar or even a plain glaze sprinkled with nuts.
Mom’s potato salad was always just a little better then all others. She said it was her secret ingredient and her I am giving it up. Sorry mom.
This salad can be eaten after 4 hours but is best served the next day.
A great spread for pancakes, muffins and toast.
This butter smells great and adds just a little orange flavor to what ever you use it on.
For a pretty serving idea use half a hallowed out orange as a serving dish.
