Posted for ZWT #6's tour of Greece, Ouzo can be served straight in a shot glass or over ice in an old-fashioned or highball glass with a pitcher of water to dilute to taste. Ouzo is also an ingredient in several cocktails. Here is a summer drink where you can tailor the potency by altering the amount of lemonade.

    Recipe #427681

Will warm you on those cold Alpine nights!

    Recipe #457789

These are the best I've ever tasted...but be careful...one is amazing, two even better, but better halt there!

    Recipe #283258

I found this cocktail recipe searching for a drink to serve with an Asian meal. It uses just a dash of fish sauce, and also pomelo juice, which is used often in Vietnamese cooking. Pomelos are like large grapefruits, but slightly sweeter.

    Recipe #504493

One of the highlights of our travels to Scandinavia was discovering aquavit, a tasty spirit with a hint of caraway or dill. I was happy to find this cocktail recipe to extend the ways we enjoy this Northern spirit!

    Recipe #504571

I love Cosmopolitans a bit on the sweeter side, so this recipe is perfect...not too tart!

    Recipe #445011

Coffee can be used as a great way to start your day...or end it, at the grill. The dark and toasty undertones from the coffee in this dry rub pair well with dark meats. Any freshly ground coffee beans will work; choose dark roast for the biggest coffee flavor or a lighter roast if you’re looking for something a little more subtle. Use on: Chicken thighs, duck, beef, lamb Make Ahead Tip: Store in an airtight container for up to 1 month.

This recipe was on The Chew TV show and looks tasty! Dive into summer with a refreshing sangria recipe in hand. This one amps up the fruity flavor with the addition of peach schnapps.

    Recipe #505348

This is one of my favorite breakfasts. If you haven't tried Greek style yogurt, it is thick and creamy even the non-fat tastes rich. Paired with granola, honey and a handful of fruit, it's a perfect start for your day!

    Recipe #427550

This blended cocktail will keep the romance of the islands alive!

    Recipe #457812

Hot chocolate with an adult peppermint twist!

    Recipe #424865

I'm adding this recipe for ZWT #6's trip to Scandinavia. This cocktail uses Swedish Punsch which is a traditional Swedish liquor produced from arrack, neutral spirit, sugar and water. Arrack, originally a strong Indian liquor, came to Sweden in the 18th century imported from Java and it became the base ingredient for making punsch. The first ready-made punsch was sold in 1845 and initially the custom was to serve it warm, often together with yellow pea soup. In the middle of the 19th century it became popular to have it served chilled as a dessert.

Coffee with a dash of mint liqueur makes a nice change of pace after dinner.
