    A wonderful way to kick off the winter season. This is a family favorite. You could top this with either a white sauce or a red sauce... both work very well. This recipe can easily be doubled. I like to make this on a Sunday night and let it sit overnight and then I don't have to cook on a Monday!

    Man oh man is this good. I made this last night for a party where we watched the Yankees beat the Red Sox. Everyone loved it... even the Boston fans! I would use a Spanish wine like a Tempranillo or a Rioja, but Beaujolais works as well. keep adding ice as it melts. When it runs out, just pour in more wine and continue the party!

    I bet you think all spinach dips are the same... NOT SO! This one is really tasty. We put a dollop on a cherry stone clam this weekend and grilled it. WOW!! You can do a million things with spinach dip. You could use white wine instead of vermouth... I just didn't have white wine when I made this... I DID have vermouth. No need to defrost and drain the spinach.. it just works

    One morning in Portland, Maine, I found the PERFECT egg sandwich and rushed home to create in my own kitchen. I use a pannini grill for this, but you could use a grill pan as long as you weighted the top while cooking each side. Bacon is optional but I think it adds alot of flavor! Be warned... this is a really filling breakfast. Don't expect to be hungry for lunch!

    This recipe is tasty and delicious! I usually serve this in flour tortillas (warmed in the oven) with Mexican rice, shredded cheese, sliced olives and sour cream.     This recipe might sound strange... who ever thought of using mayo on a grilled cheese instead of butter?? Try it, you'll see. It makes a great crunch on the bread. And you can use fat free mayo... I don't think fat free butter exists. I haven't found a cheese I don't like with this sanwich. You can also switch up the meat.

    Puff pastry is so fun to cook with! I like to make this as an appetizer. Puff pastry always looks so elegant and guests always give me a "How did you make this" reaction. It also makes a great lunch on its own. Always be sure to fully squeeze all the water out of the spinach. Other wise the whole thing will be a pool of mushy goo! For extra flavor, try adding 1/3 cup sauteed onions.
