From Christian Cooks, this salad is my new favorite. I thought all the flavors looked so interesting together. this salad presents beautifully and has such a nice mixture of flavors. It is really a healthy treat.
My husbands Aunts are all great cooks. When we got married I was given this recipe. I make it every summer and sometimes as a treat when the weather is cold. I use more lemon juice. Sometimes I mix it up and add lime and cilantro instead of lemon and persley.
I don't know if this recipe is actually Indian.
I did not write down a title when I copied it from the book. I serve this over fragrant rice. It is my favorite meal and as a child I would not eat Lima beans because they were pasty. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.
This recipe came from a book about the healing properties of food. The main healing ingredient is turmeric. I could not tell you why though. My recipe card smells of turmeric from when I make this recipe. I serve this with my Recipe #254228. My husband says this meal cures a sore throat. This is one of my all time favorite meals.
This is the simplest banana bread. I have never found another quite as yummy. Sometimes I substitute half whole wheat flour to make it healthier. I also use smart balance organic instead of butter and I never use nuts even though Grandma did.
Years ago I had a delicious beef stew as a guest at a friend of a friends house and all I knew was they used red wine. My friend gave me this wonderful beef stew recipe that includes red wine. It tastes just like the stew from so long ago.
My kids cannot get enough of this stew!
