This recipe was brought by a friend to a cookout we hosted over 20 years ago.I ask for the recipe and she hastly wrote it down.I make it several times before I could get it to work, now I make it often and any time of the year.I use the recipe has a dessert.I never have any left when I make it for a cookout or potluck.
I have made a lot of salmon loaves, and this is the best I have found.I have been making this loaf for 24 years.Haven't had any complaints,so I keep making it.I have added the 15 minute standing time to the prep time.
This is a very versatile dessert. You may,if you wish use the fruit of your choice.Try using can, fresh,I haven't used frozen as yet.It a easy dessert to put together, and the taste is just wonderful.I haven't added the time,if you put back in the freezer,as the time varies.Enjoy!! Makes 6 servings(3/4 cups each)
You can cook the ingredients one day and make cake the next,if you wish.Just refrigerate until ready to add soda & flour. When this cake is covered & allowed to store for a couple days,it becomes moist ad delicious.Your house will smell wonderful!
A friend gave me this yummy recipe a few years ago. I fix it often for family and friends. You can put wine in a sauce pan and heat before putting in the fondue pot, saves a little time.My friend didn't give me prep time or serving size,so I will give you a "guess" time
I found this recipe on the back of a can of chicken gumbo soup can in the 60's. My 3 children love it ,and now make it for their kids. I serve it with mashed potatoes,& the gravy it makes is yummy on the potatoes. I'm sorry I don't remmber the prep time
