    Not only healthy, its absolutely delicious! In fact, I kick start my day with a glass every morning to get my protein, fruit & fibre very quickly. My preference is cranberry juice & frozen blueberries with no ice. All other ingredients are available in large markets, drugstores & health food stores. My only deviation from Dr. Oz's recipe: (1) I don't add 600 mg of fish oil by breaking open supplement capsules (2) the addition of 1/2 cup plain fat free yogurt wasn't in the original recipe.

    Many chefs would argue that this should be called "Cottage Pie" since it calls for beef rather than lamb but I've never heard of it being made without meat!     Like Nanaimo Bars, butter tarts are a Canadian treat and all recipes are very similar. Increase the corn syrup - they will be runnier; increase the brown sugar - they will be less runny. The cooking time will also affect the texture of the filling. My daughter and granddaughter won second place in the butter tart contest at the Good Food Festival in Toronto...... and yes, I am very proud of them ....... and yes, the tarts are delicious! My granddaughter came up with the recipe name based on the display platter they used for the contest. You can leave out the raisins entirely or decrease the amount ........ try currants or pecans, or walnuts or a mixture. My grandchildren like them with chocolate chips - the choice is yours!
